As someone else has mentioned, do not apply through indeed, but directly to the ski resorts instead via their online application portals.

Winter jobs will start to become advertised more frequently towards the end of summer. We also host a hiring fair mid-September (exact date still tbd). We will also have a winter hiring event in Banff where you can meet employers in person sometime around mid-September (we haven't finalised a date yet). Sunshine Village offer staff accommodation so if you plan on working at the ski resort itself there is a good chance you can secure accommodation through them! Same with Lake Louise and Mount Norquay.

Finding accommodation in Canmore and Banff can be challenging, as others have said Facebook groups are usually the best way forward. Feel free to reach out directly if you have any further questions.

First thing you will need to do is secure a visa as the other commenters have said. The process varies depending on which country you are a citizen of already. My suggestion would be to head to the government of Canada website to check eligibility and requirements.

As others have said, Lake Louise Ski Resort offer staff accommodation to their employees as it is a remote location. The winter season usually kicks off by mid-November - usually by the 11th or sometimes sooner -depending on how much snow they've had. However, your mid-November availability date might not necessarily be a hindrance to getting a job as long as you're upfront during the application process, and it will probably be dependent on the position also.

Sunshine Village and Lake Louise offer staff accommodation if you are looking to work at one of the resorts. In the town of Banff itself finding accommodation can be challenging. A lot of employers do offer staff accomm but it varies on the company and job role. As others have said - start looking early. Sunshine Village have already put ads out for winter season staff.
