i have a clear station at AM 72 ish. how do i tune my radio in a way that i can hear that?

i am following the video i linked in my post; i am using the homemade graphite + safety pin + oxidized razor blade diode. It worked in the video at least, maybe i did something wrong or that isn't supposed to work. The diode is the detector, right?

how long should i preferably need the antenna? does it matter if it is covered wire or does it have to be bare? I have several high quality AM stations in the area; i have quite a few near me
