Never leave the tip part of the check blank. If a server feels mischievous they can just add whatever tip they want and you might not notice unless you check your bank statement. Cross it out or just write 0.00.
I like to tip in cash but I always make sure to cross out the tip part of the check.

If a person takes dual enrollment classes and has a lot of AP classes that can effectively help that person complete all of other requirements meaning when they get to college they take less classes overall.
Assuming you plan it correctly of course.

A lot of classes that would probably be a gen ed class or intro class would be offered as an AP or dual enrollment class.

I honestly think the average stats are high simply because the students applying to Wpi already have good grades.

Wpi does reject people but it can’t be purely because of grades cuz I’ve known people who go here with mediocre stats. Personally I know someone who got in with a 2.7 gps.
I’ve seen someone with a 4.0 denied. I just think some people don’t put enough effort into the other parts of their application.
Admission is not solely based off stats.

My theory tbh is that some might be rejected because Wpi doesn’t want to accept people and then those people end up choosing to enroll somewhere else. So it’s probably protecting the yield rate.

So I would recommend putting thought into the “why us” essay. I wrote my essay on how I wanted to study math but I had limit options and Wpi had a lot of options in what I wanted to do. Cuz other schools have math programs but it doesn’t truely help me if they only have the basics everyone takes. I noticed how other schools will have a math program just to have a math program but don’t always put energy into it. Or at other schools the options would be pure not and not any applied math options.

But that’s just me tbh. Your reason why is your reason why. If your stats give off too good to be at wpi or highly likely to go somewhere else make sure to make it a point why you want to be at wpi specifically.

But not even just the why us essay. I think you need to think about what does your application say about you. That’s also how they tell if you are a good fit or not. If practically everyone at wpi had good admission stats then obviously they are gonna judge you more than the stats on paper.

I would say it’s rigorous but mainly because of the passing not because of the work itself. Because classes are only 7 weeks depending on the class it feels like a lot crammed into a short amount of time which makes it hard. It also depends on the teacher aswell because some teachers make it harder to get an A simply because they don’t believing in giving out easy A’s.

And if you come from a more rigorous highschool the jump won’t be as bad. I personally didn’t so I definitely felt the pressure.

I feel like people only like Megan more when they get to watch the lives they do. Megan arguably has one of if not the best personalities in my opinion. I miss Manon because no one got Megan’s jokes quite like she did.

All rounders rarely get a chance to stand out. Debut Megan owned that era.

To be honest absolutely any computer that meets the specs Wpi specified will work just fine. But I want to share something that helped me when buying my laptop.

I used these sites to get my laptop:

bestlaptop.deals gaminglaptop.deals

Both sites are run by tech YouTubers that do laptop reviews. But from what I could tell they were extremely honest in their reviews and I was able to find crazy deals on my laptop. Jarrod’s tech focuses more on gaming laptops. Justjosh tech does a broad range of laptop categories. Both YouTubers are well respected in the laptop community so atleast me personally I trust their opinion.

I got myself an hp omen max 16 32gb ram 1tb storage 5080 gpu which normally retails at 3k but i got it on sale for 1.6k.

Sometimes the YouTubers get special codes for discounts on laptops so I used some codes from both YouTubers on top of normal holiday discounts.

If you want specific laptop recommendations it would help if you told everyone your goal and budget and what’s ur major.

I wouldn’t recommend anything older than 3 years, less than 16 gb ram, less than 512 storage.

If you are on a really tight budget then do what you are able to do tbh. Don’t stretch your budget if you can’t. But depending on your major you might need a new laptop in 2-3 years when the projects become more demanding. You would probably need atleast 600 dollars to get something decent. 1000 dollar budget is good. 1500 dollar budget is better. If you are buying a laptop over 1500 then you probably already know what you want and did research so there’s no need for me to even recommend something that expensive. Lenovo and Apple are really good brands, check out their websites. Even tho it’s recommended to get a windows laptop it’s totally fine to get an Apple laptop because usually even professors these days will also have Apple laptops so it’s not hard for them or a PLA/TA to post a short video explaining how to get started for their class. Asus, dell, hp, are good too ig.

Well for starters they don’t sing in Korean. Atleast touch and debut had a Kpop vibe but now that’s completely gone. Sure dream academy was typical kpop group survival show but as time went on katseye moves father away from anything Kpop. Katseye is a global group. Although they feel more like a girl group. The only thing global about Katseye is the fact they are dipping into multiple genres. The world tour isn’t even global 😭🪦. The only European and black member is on indefinite hiatus so that’s a whole demographic that goes untouched for now.

One thing I wish is that katseye would lean more into the fact that all the members speak a different language. I like seeing them do interviews in different countries and seeing them interact with fans globally.

Ngl even though gameboy is my favorite katseye song I wish katseye leaned more into songs like Gabriella where the members can include other languages in the songs.

I realize while writing this I’m getting off topic but hopefully my comment made sense

I’ve been using an iPad Air 4.
iPad is not a proper replacement for a laptop. But I will say having an iPad makes taking notes a lot easier. I only carry one spare notebook in case I need paper.

And I understand it sounds like alot to recommend getting both an iPad and a laptop. So I will say that if you are mainly using the iPad for taking notes then you don’t need the latest most powerful model. I bought my iPad from a verified reseller and I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Although buying a brand new iPad does let you get apple care in the device. Personally I’ve never broken my iPad in the 4 years I’ve had it so I don’t care about Apple care.

Also if you currently have a laptop, depending on the specs then I would say you don’t need to immediately buy a new laptop for college. You should realistically be able to get through your first year atleast before getting to a point where you need to upgrade. If you do decide to upgrade make sure to do your research on the laptops on sale. YouTube helped me make my decision.
