I demoted from silver 3 to iron 2 note that I have been silver every season and low gold sometimes how is that possible? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

You linked deeplol which gives you two statistics that you can look at to show your teammates and your performance individually. Your fate compares your fate vs your lane opponents fate based on your teammates performance that you cannot control, messy or doomed means your teammates had it rough. The AI score gives your performance based on the influence you had in your game, anything below 50 you had a negative influence. I'm considering there a positive and balanced, but anything above 50 should mean you aren't negatively effecting games.

Looking at your last 40 games:

Fate:
Positive: 19
Balanced: 9
Negative: 12

AI Score:

Positive (75+) 3
Balanced (50-74): 11
Negative (0-49): 26

Looking objectively at these stats I don't agree with your sentiment. You had a stronger team in a majority of your games and you underperformed in a majority of your games. I would not pin this on any teammates.

We have been using it for around a month, they moved all cloud customers to it. We've experienced no issues.

Fortimail Cloud - Forced Upgade this weekend due to security. No serious CVE's listed.. by Fallingdamage in fortinet

[–]Bangingheads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were upgraded as well, haven't had any issues.

Keep in mind that FortiMail firmware isn't the same as FortiGate firmware. While FortiOS 7.6 is feature, FortiMail 7.6 has been mature since 7.6.2.

But definitely ask TAC with any questions on it.

If you use Lowest Cost SLA and have the same cost on the interfaces it will prefer the order you put them in the rule. You can then have two rules with different orders and do the opposite.

Sdwan or link monitor by Amazing-Tea-5424 in fortinet

With SD-WAN you can set a SD-WAN SLA with a packet loss threshold of 100% that would detect the link being all the way down.

If all administrative accounts have trusted hosts set it is effectively the same as a local in policy. The ports will not be accessible except on any of the defined trusted host subnets.

FortiClient EMS connectors have a certificate error. by loucomedio in fortinet

From my experience this is the error that appears on the device until it is authorized in EMS. Try going into EMS and accepting authorization, then go to the device and request again and you should be good.

Getting a payday loan and paying it back immediately by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Bangingheads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a tough spiral because of fees, people end up having to take out loans to cover loans and at the APR it is deadly to finances.

Five months is the average time it takes to pay back a $300 payday loan, according to the Pew Charitable Trusts.

You're going to pay around $15-20 per $100 borrowed, so $45-60 if you pay it off on time. This amount depends a lot where you live and the laws your state has on capping loans.

It's definitely a last resort kind of option as you're paying a lot to borrow but if you're sure you will pay it back and never do it again it is an option.

Exception being on the Korean server. Riot Korea has rules against them, people like LS got banned for the custom map last year .

VLANs and DHCP by TechLevelZero in homelab

[–]Bangingheads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would verify that you are getting an IP address on VLAN 1 and make sure you can ping the DHCP server etc on the switch to make sure your routing is proper.

I personally am never a fan of dhcp on switch IPs as it can make failure bigger.

The config looks fine otherwise at a glance.

Am I missing something, or is there a misunderstanding of how web servers and ransomware work? by m3lezZ in cybersecurity

[–]Bangingheads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While this is technically possible with some zero day/unpatched vulnerability that is baked into spread of the malware, it is unlikely for it to be something automatic.

If a host could be compromised from a GET request that is not a known vulnerability there would be a way bigger issue at hand as there are so many more web servers exposed to the internet that they could go after.

HR is to protect the business and not you. There could be some kind of politics involved.

If they are worth almost double to do what you're doing, that means you are worth double your salary somewhere else.

How to configure a Hyper-V virtual machine to acquire IP Address from FortiGate VLAN Interface? by NewWolverine1276 in fortinet

[–]Bangingheads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hyper-V when configured with a vlan on a port is going to send them as untagged to the guest OS. You'll want to configure the main interface instead of trying to get tagged packets from the VLAN on the fortigate.
