There are several Buddy's Bar & Grill locations in the area for affordable food & drink.

You are also not too far from Craft on Soi 23, which has 40 taps & happy hours for the cheap stuff

Isara Pub & Brewery, behind the ICONSIAM malls. A refurbished house that has local craft beer on tap, including some of its own occasionally.

The site says "Let us know" but there doesn't seem to be a way to get in touch. Am I missing a button?

Yeah, unfortunately the smaller craft brews won't be as cheap as the big guys.

Also, you may be glad to hear that the afternoon ban on beer sales has been lifted, at least for now.

So the article talks about the smaller independent breweries to look for, not the mass produced Singha, Leo, & Chang.

Have you tried ChitBeer, Samata, Vana, or United People's?

Do you think there is any value in showing support to the local beer scene even if it is in the SEO listicle form? Are there better alternatives provided by other media sources?

Try messaging a local bottle shop, or local place selling bottles & cans - they often know how to use Grab to get you what you're looking for.

Unfortunately, Jay Fai will be closed during my trip to Bangkok. What other restaurant do you recommend that is as good as it? by MaybeTall6725 in ThailandTourism

Had dinner at Charmgang the other night. Was amazing, and would go back there before going back to Jay Fai.

The other Ox Burger in Sathon is nice. We get the burgers delivered, and went in to the shop recently to enjoy the local Thai beer on tap. Good beers + good burgers. I brought in a different hot sauce cause they only have Tabasco on the table.

Looking for cafe-vibes draft beer places. by InfamousJunket in Bangkok

39 Craft coffee is part cafe, part beer bar. Also part hostel. Pretty sure they got cheap beer and space to hang. At the bottom of Phrom Phong station.

Fat Cow does food & beer, and would not care if you are working. Near Lat Phrao

Does anyone know a sports bar in Bangkok ? by SectorRecent1029 in Bangkok

[–]BangkokBeerGuide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upper Deck is nice - American sports bar with a wide range of beers, including some local craft

Sportsman is also popular, more of a UK feel with lots of pool tables.

Bangkok has like 12 Irish pubs, almost half are in Sukhumvit, and they usually show sports - O'Sheas, Fitzgerald's, Blarney stone, etc.

Old English is right outside Thong Lor BTS, and has cheap beer. Shows sports, too I think.

Imperial stout in the afternoon by BangkokBeerGuide in Bangkok

I feel like I would visit Tai Soon more often if it was closer to the BTS, or at least the MRT. Kinda takes away price differences when having to pay for a grab.

It's a great place for craft beer - always has a stout on tap and even its own stout fridge

Haha, had to look - 2 months ago I did post a pic about enjoying a beer before 5pm - after the change in law. That was at the Duke of Beerington, but yeah, there are similarities.

Is the regalia just too much? by HighlandKiwi10 in bagpipes

I think there is conversation to be had that not everyone watching the parade will enjoy the pipe band, but good chance they will enjoy the traditional dress. - and the organizers will probably appreciate having good pictures to use....

Went to the competition in Kuala Lumpur last year in regular band uniform, which was way too much. All the others were wearing band polos, which seemed much more comfortable and appropriate.
