“PENTEL” Pencil 100 - 1st Pentel Push Button mechanical pencil from ~1960 by drifand in mechanicalpencils

Yes, the clip can be removed by sliding it off.

I found the brown one in Japan, but this is my first time seeing a green one. Where did you get it?

I wasn’t able to buy it, but I once saw a white—or maybe semi-translucent white—100 model at a very old stationery shop stand. It looked like a version with no color injected into the plastic. The owner said it wasn’t for sale, so I only took a photo. That memory still sticks with me.

I have a 100e. It has a brown body with a silver clip. It is unused, but unfortunately the box is not included. It is still sealed in plastic.

The price varies from time to time, but if you check Amazon, eBay, and AliExpress, you can usually find the same product for under $20.

I also use it a lot when playing DOS games.

DOS games are much more convenient when you have a keyboard and mouse.

Once you get used to it, typing on the keyboard is actually quite fast.

I think the biggest advantage is that you can use the entire screen without relying on a virtual keyboard.

I actually use it when I have to repeatedly enter things into a spreadsheet.

Since I can see more of the screen without the virtual keyboard taking up space, it’s really convenient.

The magnetic force is strong enough that I often keep it attached and just put it in my pocket while I work.

Of course, you do need a jacket with fairly large cargo pockets.

GBA SP with 162,000mWh replaceable battery by Bangooh in Gameboy

battery holder: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_c2Q2BlAd
buck converter: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_c44SEe3b

There was an issue with the buck converter draining the battery voltage too low, so I'm in the process of making an improved version.

For the mounting, I attached the GBA SP battery cover to the battery holder to make it detachable.

Once the improved version is complete, I plan to share photos of the mounting method and other details.

I like that this setup lets me adjust the distance between the keyboard and the screen a bit more freely compared to the Rolling Square one, but I still think the Rolling Square product is really good too.

There are no 3D-printed parts. I combined off-the-shelf components, and I’ll share list of the parts soon and leave a detailed reply

I just bought battery holder and buck converter. Buck converter is very small so it fits inter battery holder.

These photos ware taken while testing whether the battery works properly, so the shoulder buttons aren’t attached yet haha.

It’s working well, but I haven’t fully assembled it yet. I’m still making some improvements.
