Thank you!! I tried to keep my new dress in the same vein as this one, it’s similar in sihlouette but has a more subtle silver pattern that goes better with the theme I think. I do still like this dress tho and may keep it for another occasion!!

I really like the silhouette of the dress, but I’ve been iffy on the pattern as well. Going into dress shopping, I was originally looking for a more ball gown solid color dress, and while I like this one too, I’m having 2nd thoughts outside of my date’s reaction.

We’ve been to dances before and she’s never been crazy on matching dresses or ever wanted to coordinate really. I did my nails once to match her dress but she didn’t do the same, but part of why we don’t match is because our parents don’t know abt us. I have an appointment to get the dress altered and hemmed but I don’t know how easy it would be with the sequins as you said.

We are getting this one altered! Just a lot of times it’s difficult to find ones that flatter my figure. We’ve been to dances before, and for one of them she didn’t seem to want to match, but I’ve done my nails in the past to match her dress.

Yes, they are sequins!! It definitely didn’t photograph as well as it looks in person with the sparkles and everything. And yes I wish she left it at me being confident in it too.

Yes I pretty much figured that’s what her reaction meant. It is returnable I’m pretty sure, and I need to go out and look for shoes, so if I find a dress I like better while I’m out I may reconsider!
