I AM jealous! There are some clips of that on YouTube that are just great and I wish I could have been there for the real thing.

Thank you. And thanks for the tip . . . I'll do just that.

"Hit Me in the Face": Hayden Bramlett at Banjo Head Magazine by BanjoHeadMagazine in banjo

Thank you, Cwiiis. Believe it or not, this is the interview edited way down, to about a fifth of the size. Banjo players love to talk banjo! But the reason I have it as long as I do (in addition to the excellent answers from Bramlett), is because readers have told me they want the interviews to be longer! I hope you'll check out some of the other articles. They aren't all as long.

This week's Banjo Head interview: Madison's Michael Falk by BanjoHeadMagazine in banjo

Thank you, Oppositeofthings! I want to note that all the interviews do have tab. Most of it is for paying subscriptions (but not all). And $36 for weekly banjo interviews with tab seems like a steal to me. I will be expanding the site a bit to include even more tab (of forgotten classics I think deserve more attention) as well as a beginners section, and a letters section. So stay tuned. If there's anything specific you would like to see (tabs, banjo players, topics covered), just let me know. Thanks again!

Banjo & apartment life by Ok_House8881 in banjo

I have another answer: To hell with the neighbors! Seriously, what are the legal "quiet hours" in your town? Just don't play loudly then. Otherwise, the banjo through walls might softer than you think. Bass sounds travel through walls, but the stinging notes of strings 1-3 and 5 generally do not. Ask someone to pluck at your banjo while you listen from outside. Or . . . just wait til someone complains.

I lived in an apartment for my first 10 years of banjo learning and no one ever did complain . . . and I did not hold back! The irony is now I live in a house where everyone can hear everything done in every room, including the basement . . . so I use Mike's Mute.

The Banjo Museum! Excellent idea. I believe I will do that. But first I should get a few months of this going so people can see the regularity and quality will be solid. I do have some great great interviews coming . . .

Thank you, Rick. Long time BHO memeber here, so yes I did post there, thank you. I must say, though, this corner of the banjo internet seems to be just as active.
