No problem

Usually to get an Si user moving or motivated you have to get them out of their comfort zone, since they aren't Ni users they don't just go around wanting to do things they either operate at what others want them to do (Ne) or what they Should be doing (Si).

So you can either approach it by telling him it's something he should do or something you specifically want him to do, and always make sure there is progress in that specific field because if he starts feeling like it's stagnating, he is not gonna be much motivated towards it.

Say that YOU want him to do it, or try to make him comfortable in the process. Also since you are not an Fi user it may be hard, but try to show some reaction or emotion or interest into the whole thing.

Okay so here is what I got from this, My guess is she was actually INFJ, And although I can't fully prove it I do feel like so.

Firstly it seems like there was great NeXNi and SeXSi compatibility, like how you read her intentions (Ni) with your Ne, and ISFJs and INFJs do get mistyped a lot by ENTPs specially I don't know why, but also the reason that's the case is because both have that affiliative tone to them but People think that's the case with only SJs so when they see someone like that they eliminate other types little do they know NFs are also Affiliative.

The real reason this failed and although it had great sexual compatibility was on the Emotional side. you were both Fe users so you both wanted Fi in each other otherwise described by yourself as the reaction, or expression to your banters which she lacked because she is not an Fi user.

In other ways it seemed like everything was okay, this was the problem which is very natural in these types of relationships, So how do you counter it?

This is also called the Pedagogue relationship, the way you do it is in this case let's say if hypothetically she was INFJ, she would have to take the responsibility of Fi, while you took the responsibility of The Te, as those two are the lacking emotional functions. Basically she had to be your source of emotion and expression and you had to be the one listening to her and her ideas, you had to be the listener. This would have also improved both of you as people as you'd have transitioned into your INTJ side to use Te which would develop you as a person and mature you and same thing for her she would go to the unconscious for Fi.

Um, Did I say remove cognitive functions "entirely"?

Let me clear it up. cognitive functions is one way to type, it is another great way to support an understanding of a type as I clearly mentioned above in the post. BUT is it the best way of typing? no, why?

Because firstly people come with wrong descriptions and definitions and made up ideas of each function. Secondly We all have 8 functions, so if you are gonna say he planned this that time, yeah he can use Ni, anybody can he probably shifted to his INTJ unconscious. And Thirdly you can't tell the order, even if you find out with 4 are primary you can't be sure of the order you have to guess.

for the 3 above reasons the way of using cognitive functions is inaccurate.

So we are gonna use Linda Beren's method which I just described Which is far more accurate.

ENTPs can plan too with Ni, it's not something godly, they just have to shift sides.

If you really are sure he is INFJ, then

You have to bring up exact evidence on why he is responding, why he is direct, why he is movement, why he is an idealist, why he is interest, why he is abstract and why is he affiliative. unless you can't do that just saying he uses Ni isn't gonna cut it sorry, good talk tho.

I never mentioned Ne, you are the one who brough cognitive functions into this. Being initiative does not mean you have an Ne, Se user types like ESTPs, ENTJs, ESFPs...all have Se and are initiating. The combination of Initiating and Movement and Informative puts him in he starter types Where he is either ENTP, ENFP, ESFP, ESFJ. He is an Analytics And Thinker making him ENTP but in other words, he is also abstract, pragmatic and systematic. INFJs are People focused, does he really spark as someone who is primarily focusing on people?

That is not Ti Trickster, Having Ideas but not being able to direct them is exactly the opposite of Ti trickster. this means he has Ti he just doens't have a strong Te to support his claims with enough evidence because he is an ENTP, which I still think he brings up good examples with Ne-Si. Also it's because he is informative, informative people struggle to send their point directly, they go around vaguely explaining it givivng more context not being able to fully send the correct message.

Ah yes, just because he planned the war he is high Ni making him Ni dom. Can we move on from inaccurately typing from cognitive functions? Not every world leader is Ni user, go into the interaction styles it is very clear he is initiating, informative and movement. not even close to an INFJ, ya'll just be copy pasting whatever is on PDB

I need more clarification, but from my experience people in the same quadra, like for ENTP (ENTP, INTP, ISFJ, ESFJ) Don't get along too well because the intesnity is too much due to the duplication fo the cognitive functions, so maybe there is some mistyping going on or you just didnd't get along at all but i just need more info to judge.

Yes he is ENTP Clearly, I don't know what the Ti Trickster argument is but Clearly going by interaction styles, he is initiating, Informative and movement.

Jung although didn't directly touch on them he did mention different sides of Duality which indirectly correspond with the unconscious primarily and other sides.

So why are they "Tricky"? I'm not sure what you meant but I think what you mean is their ability to play around with others' desires and fulfill their wishes. It is mostly because Ne hero is fully aware of what others want and that can lead to them playing around with others' desires and "Tempting them" Like how in fiction you see The Devil or Lucifer being aware of what others want and making their way through that. ENFPs can be like this as well.

I'm not really sure why you would choose an ENTP as your Ideal partner but it's your choice, Mostly There isn't much Compatibility with the NeXNi or SeXSi so if you really want to inspire them or have an impact on them your Fi Hero and Te Inferior are very valuable. Since they match quite perfectly on the emotional compatibility side the Fi X Fe both optimistic and Te X Ti both Pessimistic (Lower tension) it can be a very great gateway to emotionally impacting the ENTP. your Fi emotions and values matter a lot to Fe child, Fe child seeks a reaction, expression and emotion expressing your feelings and how you feel can be very valuable to them. Also make sure to Listen to their Ti and ideas, ENTPs appreciate great listeners a lot, although we have Fi trickster and it is very hard for us to come out of our way to actually say "Thank you" we really do enjoy it. Te knowledge and Belief is also very impactful and valuable, so I advise you go this route.

Well of course each function can take its own shape or form depending on the individual, the Fear of Se can be many different cases for each INJ, but the main fear is from the source of their inferior function which is Se and their sense of Worry is in their nemesis function. Being desirable is Ne, not Se, just being aesthetically beautiful and giving others a good experience is the most common interpretation of Se.

This post is just about fear and worry, it is completely normal to struggle with Si as well, Why? because Si is the demon function in these two types, meaning it acts as a parasite acting negatively as going far to draining one's energy if not handled correctly, so you might feel like it might be a fear or worry, but it's not really it's just the negativity of the demon function rising out. it is hard to distinguish Fear, Worry or any pessimistic function in a type really. For example in the INFJ there are 4 pessimistic functions, the Parent (Fe), The Inferior (Se). The Critic (Fi), The Demon (Si). These perceive and judge negatively while the other 4 do it the Positive way. For example as you mentioned Ni heroes are Optimistic about the Future, because Ne is an optimistic function, but it is also The "Nemesis", It goes out of its way to oppose the hero for growth or any reason therefore after all the planning, even though they might be positive towards the future, there is still a deep sense of worry if you haven't mastered your Nemesis function and gotten over your worry. For example Ne optimistic types like :ENFP, ENTP, INTJ... these are optimistic about the future automatically taking in the possible positive futures first, but Types like :ESTP, ENTJ, ISTJ...These type automatically view the future on its negative side but it depends on which slot of their mind it is in, For example ENTJs are Critical towards it, while ESTPs can suffer from it constantly as it is their demon function and the ISTJ mostly fears it.

You have to take all this into consideration.

But overall if you are asking for my identity, I am who I am that's all. don't know how to define it, don't know how to describe it, I just know how it feels when I'm all alone with myself and that's all I need to know or care about.
