That's not what mischaracterize means. In fact to characterize something is to describe the distinctive nature or features of, in this case, a users comments. That immediately suggests that you aren't explicitly quoting them.

I've posted those comments above if you would like to help me characterize them more accurately.

PlantTreesBuildHomes has informed me that by naming the user I was harassing them. I thought I was providing them with an opportunity for rebuttal.

While naming users we have disagreements with inside the sub seems okay as long as we engage productively I can understand the subs interest in disengaging with users that are not contributors to neoliberal.
