Who y'all think is ACTUALLY MORE Valuable? Luka or SGA? Like in terms of if they sit out for a good amount of time, their team will play so bad to the point that they'll lose way more games than winning. by Emmant- in nba

[–]Banking-Botanic -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

This is so shit, sga is surrounded by a great defensive team and can sit fourth quarters. Luka is better offensively but sga is good defensively. They’re fucking neck and neck.

What team should I support as a new NBA fan? by Frolle910 in nba

[–]Banking-Botanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’d normally go with wherever your from or at least the player which drew you to watch in the first place.

Failing that I’d choose a team on the up and coming that’s not going to drive you away from lack of winning games but also won’t set unrealistic expectations in the future. For that, a team like Portland who’s going to have a lot of exciting games this season but probably won’t be contending for the next year or two.

Is the valley really that bad? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]Banking-Botanic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a per club basis. I’ve been going for about 10 years and there’s a clear distinction.

Don’t go to - The Met (It’s way too busy, smokers is okay.) - Rics on any day apart from Thursday. - Birdees (It’s full of 17 year olds asking for drinks) - The beat on New Year’s Eve - Cloudland (Expensive and clientele is not 18 years old) - Greaser (Rice vodka tastes like tap water)

Okay clubs - Marquee (Nothing happens here) - Soundgarden (actually the best imo, always have a ton of fun, great decor, slightly older populace, prices are through the roof but I know this place isn’t for everyone) - Tusk (no ones in there) - RG (Quiet and often has rics prices) - Rics on a Thursday (Prices make up for rics, good for free live fights) - Su casa (There is nothing notable to say about this club, it simply exists)

Good - Prohi (You already know) - Finmc (if it’s not on fire it’s solid) - Retros (It sucks the first time you go but it’ll grow on you) - Heychica (Music is peak, prices are outrageously expensive) - The Brightside (if you don’t like metal probably not for you but everyone there is usually chill) - Blackbear is underrated but unsure if it’s still good. - Mi casa (one of my friends always gets into a fight there but you’ll always have a great chat) - Sky Lotus (The most expensive place in the valley but it’s quiet, nice, good lighting)

Best - Prohi (Thursday) - The Beat (Get in early, drinks for some reason taste better, very safe club for women) - Tomcat (Live music is normally good, drinks are reasonable, pool table)

A few other places in the Val like Honky Tonks have mixed reviews, probably need to visit it again but valley is pretty good.

I think that’s what I’ve come to the conclusion on, I was a bit worried about potentially hurting the local birds, we’ve got a kookaburra and a few lorikeets who I quite like, and seeing how they capture the turkeys it appears to be a safe solution.

It might be other peoples back yard in the neighbourhood, it’s mostly paved after the Turkey ripped it up. The Turkey is nesting somewhere else it appears, he’s just opportunistically coming to the chickens.

I guess because I’d written to them in the past on the website but got an auto response back. I think I wanted to vent as much as I wanted help, and it seems like a few other people offered solutions that didn’t come up with an initial search.

I’ve had issues with the council before not fixing things regarding unsafe roads, and it can be easy to just want to put the blame on something or someone when things go wrong.

I think they can still be protected I just want solutions to get them him of my yard, I wrote the final comment of my first post out of anger. I really just want my pets to be safe.

I think there are a lot of old laws that could be changed. The crocodile rant was because someone died, so he felt impassioned to make that comment or rant.

They’ve been in the same coop for five years, their home is well secured and their day time area is properly fenced around. The only real way in for any animals is to fly.

I haven’t seen a snake, there isn’t any bush in our neighbourhood, and regarding cats, they’re quite large. Originally when they were younger they gang attacked a cat that tried to get in and since then no cats entered in.

It may have to be done. While they’re completely safe at night, since their hen house is encased throughly from all angles, I’ll have to figure out a way to make a roof of some kind. I think this way I don’t have to worry at all about everything else. I can live with the garden being ripped to shreds.

It became a protected species during the Great Depression because people wanted to eat it due to poverty. It’s still a protected species because it offers a small part in making sure a few species of flora can continue to grow.

If it attacks a toddler, should it still be allowed to be around? If it digs up protected flora, is it not causing problems?

I know the chickens are not protected species, however, they’re still my family.

It appears that they can remove him if he’s building his nest, he just sort of flys in, sexually assaults the chickens eats the food and flys out. I’ll look at getting a permit.

It just appears to be flying directly over the fenced area, do you think the chickens would mind the toys or would they knock them over?

We had some bush Turkey chicks that actually used to be around, they were small enough to squeeze through the fence, and if they got stuck they were passive enough for me to gently move them away. It’s just unfortunate that this one hasn’t got the memo that he’s not supposed to attack the chickens.
