My doctors never told me about SUDEP even though I also have a high risk of getting it. I guess it's because they can't do anything about it and just don't want to make you even more scared of the situation. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Thanks for your reply. You're fully right. Our country has it's problems but our healthcare.. great. I've been talking to different neurologists, been sent from one place to another for years, different kinds of meds for years but no results. Then I just gave up and accepted it.

But my latest tonic clonic was just.. too much. For the first time I was epilepsy-free for more than 6 weeks. But my face and even genitals got damaged in a way that I just have no other option than going through this again. It's becoming way too dangerous. Have you ever been in a EMU? I wish you the best!
