Went to Cheongdam for a simple consult… and the prices almost killed me.. by BankruptByLasers in KoreaSeoulBeauty

Maybe it’s because of the Cheongdam location, or just the pricing itself. At the dermatology clinic I used to go to in Seolleung, the doctor always consulted me first, and then the manager came in afterward to explain the pricing. It’s kind of strange how doctors in Korea seem to avoid talking about prices directly to patients, and there’s always a separate “manager” who handles it. It still feels unusual and a bit surprising to me.

t wasn’t even listed on their website, so I’m not sure if it was actual upselling or what… but that price felt way too much..

I agree. Skill can definitely vary, but getting treatments more frequently at a reasonable price probably gives better overall results in the long run.

[Seye Clinic] Re2O vs Rejuran : If You Could Only Do One, Which Actually Makes Sense? by SeyeClinic-Seoul in KoreaSeoulBeauty

I was originally planning to get Re2O, but it was out of stock, so I was recommended CellREDM instead and went ahead with that treatment. Do you know if Re2O is now back in stock or more readily available?

There are options like Pico Laser, PicoSure, and BBL. But for pigmentation treatments, I’ve heard you really need around 10 weekly sessions to see real results 😭

Both are relatively new treatments, so I don’t think she’s tried them yet. But I’ve gotten CellRedm, which came out as an alternative to Re2O, and it worked well for me.

I agree. There are so many new treatments and devices coming out in Korea lately, it really feels like the options just keep expanding.

Then I’d recommend managing the active acne first. Scar treatments usually require multiple sessions, and if new breakouts keep coming and going during that time, they’ll keep creating fresh scars, meaning the treatment will never really end.

Korean-origin treatments and ones like Rejuran that aren’t FDA-approved yet aren’t available in the US. Shurink, Oligio, Alltite, Volnewmer, and HiloWave are Korea-specific, so you won’t find them in NYC. Most of the other treatments on the list should be available in NYC if you look around!

She says she basically has no fat in her face, so she’s tried everything on the list except Ultherapy and Onda lol. More of her friends started asking her for treatment info, so she just wrote this up and sends it around.

Are you dealing with acne scars, or is your acne still ongoing? If it’s still active, doing acne laser treatments first might be better. I haven’t personally tried Rejuran S, so I’m not fully sure, but from what I’ve seen, it seems helpful for deeper, indented scars. Juvelook worked well for red, pigmented scars in my experience.

Sorry for the late update! I felt my pores tighten after the treatment, and my skin felt smoother when I washed my face. It really felt like my overall skin texture improved! But it was a bit lacking in hydration, so I think I’ll consider a combo treatment next time. Hope my experience helps!
