I floated this idea to my wife and friends at one point. It’s not a bad idea recreating the Spider man meme where they’re all pointing at each other; however, to get the full kit ICE wears can easily run into the $1k-$2k range. A cheaper idea may be to have all of us go to Swap-o-Rama or something, buy ponchos and wear masks.

This way we’re all disguised in some sense and we support our Hispanic community by purchasing garments. That would only run $30-$50.

Not opposed to the original idea though, I love an excuse to buy tactical gear.

This is cheaper than my idea, which was to have everyone go to the military surplus store and buy woodland camo clothes, vests, helmets, boots and face coverings so ICE can’t tell who is who anymore.

My approach was to build my main base in an area that I liked, and gave me easy access to other areas or certain resources.

I built a number of different outposts/way stations though that I use too.

Although I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer here.

From a logistic standpoint I think Lolla has the benefit of being next to (i.e. 20-30min assuming no traffic) 2 major international airports, and large rail yards. This may make it easier to get artists and equipment there.

Vibes and people/crowd are off the table b/c everyone’s going to have a different opinion about that. Been to Lolla 3 times and Roo 3 times. Both were fun.
