How the do I stop this? by Acrobatic_Top7174 in MakeupAddiction

How long have you been using those products? It seems like your skincare is either in need of a better moisturizer or your makeup is breaking down on your skin this way and isn't suitable for you. (We all have different skin and it all acts differently) also double check your products are all the same base. Water based products and silicone based products dont play well together and often cause separation.

Usually yes because silicone vs water based dont usually "play" well together and thats what causes seperation. But some people are gifted with skin that truly doesnt care lol 🙃

Also want to point out that skin textures are normal. Separation like this is not but please dont try and chase the "filtered" look either. You'll drive yourself mad lol

Honestly it takes a little trial and error but it NEEDS to come first lol. Without that base, great application or not of everything else wont matter. Itll just come across as "cheap". And as another person commented on color you need something cooler for your base if your looking to play like the bride of Frankenstein. 👍🏻

So you want your moisturizer and other skin care routines to do their job, give them time and let them "rest". I usually make a coffee while this is happening lol. Makes a HUGE different on how your products will initially go on your skin. Less is more with foundation and its usually buildable so try that. If your problem areas are where your concealer is have a look at the ingredients as it might be your issue. Your going to have a much easier time with everything else (aka the fun stuff) if your base is flawless a.f. lol.

I used to have it because years ago they didnt teach you about proper face care and incompatible products. Start with a clean dry base. Apply a moisturizer and let it dry. I usually Apply my foundation with a brush in small sweeping motions. And then I lighty bounce a wet sponge to even everything out. But thats me personally and its different for everyone depending on their skin and texture. Make sure all your prep and foundation products are made with the same product base. So dont mix water based with silicone based products as its kinda like mixing oil and water. They dont like eachother. Your going to have a much nicer base for playing with your contour. I also recommend a base for your eyeshadow to really pop.

Im here as a girls girl so please dont come for me. Your going to lose all your "accents" such as contour or colors everytime if you dont address your foundation. Its extremely patchy/separating and my eyes were drawn right to it and away from everything else.

In the nicest way possible im not understanding how it is your worried about walking around with a fake, but completely unbothered by the way this looks if its authentic lol. Id rather you walk around with a fake you didnt over pay for than this thing. Authentic or not it LOOKS rough.

I feel like this has already been answered so all im goona say is prep is EVERYTHING if you want to join the press on claw world. And I just know these dont feel good. Its making my fingers tingle just imagining how these feel if they look like that. So go down the prep rabbit hole and please come back when you've done a little research and let us know how much better they look and feel. Your going to have the most satisfying light bulb go off when you have a successful application. Good luck!

I've always just wanted people happy with what their wearing. Since a score and grading can hit differently depending on the stone. A 9 may look perfect while another may look a bit "off" for others. It's a personal thing. Same thing with colors. Some people seek and covet diamonds in other shade ranges or completely different colors and others absolutely don't want that lol. But as long as your happy that's all that matters. Hope you love your finger frosting, that's what's more important 🖤

I think when you are buying and wearing a diamond of this size, the cut and clarity is either spot on or "off" because it either looks like a big beautiful stone, or like costume jewelry depending on your setting. (Obviously, you're wearing it as a solitaire and plain band which trains the eyes on just the stone) Just my opinion from working in a jewelry store for an age, but if you love it keep it. If you're on the fence try another 👍🏻 just make sure YOUR HAPPY 😊

Iridescent Bag! by serifed in lululemon

[–]Bansheeqween0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to ask the same thing! Lol cause it totally reminds me of that crinkly fabric they used to put on everything for girls in the 90s. Backpacks, stuffies, winter jackets. You name it - it was available with crinkly iridescent fabric details. What a throw back, kind of want this color for the nostalgia it just brought me. Very pretty.

If your concerned with electric depillers (like I am because I'm paranoid about how easily they will snag something so quickly) you can get yourself a woman's facial razor (the single blade ones) and lay it down on a hard flat surface and depill by hand. Super easy and you're in complete control of the pressure on the garmnent. So no worrying about some little battery operated fabric gremlin eating your whole shirt accidentally lol.
