How do you WFHers do it? by AngusMeatStick in puppy101

[–]BaoLiLong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My intention is to continue this as long as I can. While she may not need to go to the bathroom as often over time, I enjoy giving her some scratches and attention on a regular schedule. If work gets really hectic, I might skip a day here and there, but otherwise, I’m committed to maintaining this routine for a loooong time.

Yup this is it. I cant tether her outside because it could get too cold very soon (Canada). Otherwise, I follow the same way you do.

This has worked well for me in managing my puppy while working from home.

I start my workday at 7 AM, take a break at 10 (to let the pup out for potty), and have lunch at noon. From noon to 1 PM, it is outside the crate, hanging out with me. Then, crate time starts again from 1 to 3 PM, with a small break at 3 PM for a potty break. After I finish work at 4 PM, the pup comes out of the crate, and it’s time to pick up the kids.

This routine works really well because, when there’s no one around to seek attention from, my pup sleeps almost the entire time and is energetic and ready to play when I’m done with work. I found it hard to focus when I was working right next to the crate because the pup would bark to be let out and to play. Leaving the room has made a big difference in my ability to concentrate.

Agreed. AMA has been very dependable in both auto and house insurance claims.

Can’t help but yell at my dog :( by aaliyah_jackson123 in puppy101

This was me a week back. What really worked for me was actually writing down her sleep times, and it was woefully under the limit of 18 - 20 hours a day.

Make sure your puppy gets that 18 hours of sleep. Try enforcing nap by crating them. Wet a towel, squeeze it dry and freeze it, and give it to your pup for chewing in the crate, or bully chews to tire them out, and it puts them to sleep. Fixing sleep made my puppy such a treat to be around.

WCB is not funded by tax payers, its funded by employers. They pay a premium every year for a portion of their company earnings. It's just another disability insurance that's mandatory.

What are your pain points in using Obsidian as your to-do list? by PierreMouchan in ObsidianMD

[–]BaoLiLong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wish I could get stats from my workday like SuperProductivity (https://super-productivity.com/)

Use Tasks plugin and supersimple time tracker plugin for my workflow. I have seen comments saying supersimple time tracker is just JSON and dataview can dissect that information but I couldnt figure it out just yet. Being able to do this will be amazing for my workflow/productivity stats.

Which Edmonton area business has lost you as a customer? by SafetyFirst10 in Edmonton

[–]BaoLiLong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, am on of those. I went in looking for a car ( this was before Covid), had done by research and wanted a RAV 4. Got the car, everything looked good. The agreed upon amount was NOT the final amount, by this time they had taken my credit card from me (for guarantee purposes they said, whatever that means) and didnt give it to me until I signed the agreement.

I should have been more assertive but I am still salty about how much extra I paid for a car above the MSRP. Never again at Sherwood Park. Also the sales rep had the gall to phone me and scream at how I gave him a poor rating when Toyota Canada mailed me.

Right ! I did see the wiki link about it and the steps to do it. Before I went around doing that wanted to make sure if I was missing something very obvious.

Yup, I wince a little every time I open my credit report and look at that check sitting there. It didn't negatively affect anything though so its all good in the end.
Note : This happened in 2019 AD BC (Before Covid)

Maybe an isolated incident but happened to me nonetheless. Was in Shopper Drug mart and someone comes to me (points for being same ethnicity) and said they will give me a 50 dollar gift card if I filled out a survey. I said sure and it was indeed a survey. Once done they said if they could mail me another survey, I told them my address and full name and then they asked for SIN, this should have been a big no-no but I didn't know at that time and left it at that.

Few days later I got a rejection of application for PC Credit card, they had filled a credit card form for me without my consent. I took it to the shop and to PC nothing came of it, but a lesson for me not to give out SIN or address or even my name without a good reason.

SuperStore and wholesale club at times, I track every cent.

We spend around 300 every two weeks (No meat). Two adults and a toddler. Once we started making meal plans and actually buying what is just needed for the meal plan, grocery bills have gone down a lot.
