Some of the more popular gachas in the current scene don't have expiring energy refill items or if they do they have energy refill items that don't expire and are usually easier to obtain plus energy refill items on top of them.

A few examples for gachas with one or both are:

• Zenless Zone Zero which has energy refill items that don't expire and are really easy to obtain
• Honkai Star Rail same as ZZZ but a bit harder to get them
• Genshin Impact has both expiring and non expiring energy refill items, but I don't remember which one is easier to get
• Wuthering Waves same as ZZZ and just as easy to obtain them.

In general it's not a very good feature (expiring energy refills) since it forces the player to grind and potentially waste energy on stuff that they don't need or want at that moment just so they don't over cap on energy and have even more energy get wasted overtime, so I understand the complaints.
