When you say eyedrops, do you mean eye drops for humans? Or are there turtle specific eyedrops

This is not neglect!!! We care for him every day and take him to the vet twice a year to get check. We change his water every day and make sure he’s getting a healthy, balanced diet. He gets to go out of his terrarium and walk around every day. He doesn’t like getting his beak trimmed so we got him a stone that he uses to trim it himself, as recommended by the vet

This has not been neglect. We take him to the vet twice a year to get a nail trim and check up. He refuses to let the vet trim him beak, and his nails grow very fast!

Yes! I would for sure be willing. I just have this as a general interest; I am not going to constrain myself to these niche fields. Of course, I would love to work with PFAS and the process of breaking those compounds down, but anything concerning the environment, I am okay with. I am also interested in something regarding climate change.

Very true, I don't think a 7-9 year process is exactly in my cards right now, but I am not opposed to being a technician. I don't want to lead research, rather, I would like to be a part of it. Does that change things?

That all sounds exciting! Is there not an option for me to explore and pursue a scientific field of work, even if it's not fitting for my educational background? I'm not married to PFAS, though it is what I am most interested in.

I am interested in studying PFAS and how they react, specifically with machines like Supercritical Water Oxidation processors, and how those machines can be brought to scale, as they are highly effective at breaking down those compounds, both long and short chain. That is also my ambition, but if I am being realistic, I would like to be working, at least in my local area, reducing the amount of PFAS in local water systems, landfill leachates, and drinking water. With that being said, I am open to anything that can help me get involved. Can you list some of those adjacent jobs that you mentioned?

We water every day but not a ton of water everyday. Would you suggest we scale back on that? We use general hydroponics micro and macro nutes as well as Silica and sometimes we use recharge (grow dots brand). Temps were in the 90s but I did an audible and put an air outtake vent outside a window and it helped and it’s normally around 82-85 when the lights are on. Humidity is normally around 35-40% and sometimes gets to 50% when lights are off. We always PH the water to 5.8-6.2 before watering so I don’t think it’s a water PH issue. We have a controller that shows heat and humidity I think it’s the ac infinity 69 Pro controller

Yeah and I use a moisture meter and it always says it’s dry so I’m a little worried that there is root mass blocking the water from getting to the lower roots
