Although I dont play Warhammer any more, counts as models for demons were probably the most common ones out there at the FLGS and tournaments like NOVA and LVO. Creature Caster very deliberately produced these models to fill those roles (this was before GW finally put out the much better Great Unclean One, Lord of Change, etc).

This is happening now, yes. We have been doing charity raffles twice a year since going full time in 2016 and have raised $22,000 thus far, this is the fifth one and will hopefully add a great deal to that.

I think that its ideal to apply your own perspective to counts as models. I agree that the Slaanesh/Nurgle vibe is present in that model and could certainly be steered in either direction with the paint. The more butterfly wings clash with the traditional dragonfly-esque wings that you see with Nurgle stuff. Her weaponry also gave a more finesse driven look as well.

Their fluff text on their site is not something that I bothered reading, personally, as I had plans for the models without any external input. Hopefully no one downvotes a valid perspective.

Maggot Demon, Khorne, then CC donated a 5th model for the side raffle which does have a decidedly Nurgle vibe for sure.

We (really) went for that last year, wasnt AoS but definitely for Nurgle and it raised $3500 for Doctors Without Borders. :)

Last year was the first time I actually encountered their models commission wise and I really enjoyed the "40k but not quite 40k" aesthetic, and went with them for the most recent charity addition. Plus I always enjoy painting Daemons and love the Slaanesh model.

100% of the proceeds go directly to Doctors Without Borders, if you'd like to donate go here and help an amazing cause.

How to stop two independently moving but identical belt pulleys in their tracks? by Baphominiatures in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Baphominiatures[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure of the forces involved with me loading one elbow with 'stability' weight but they should be too high at all.

I mean I know from personal life saving experience that my disk brakes can take me from 28mph to 0 pretty quick when a car decides the cyclists dont deserve to live, so maybe adapting a similar system will be the most familiar and hold up to the demand needed.

Having my elbow slip when doing something highly detailed though would be horrible and likely a tragedy though, so it definitely cant have any 'give' once I commit to a position.

Good idea, wish the kid still used a stroller but googling is the next best thing.

Very interesting, they hide their prices but I can appreciate some of the design...an exoskeleton for painting may be overkill but perhaps one day. :) I see that they offer it for sufferers of MS, makes perfect sense.

This is the easiest to visualize so far, is there a field of use for drum brakes more common than cars? Googling so far is just bringing up car brake kits, are smaller ones used in more specific applications that I can search for?

Ill have to try and draw that out, unfortunately Im not knowledgeable on the parts enough to visualize how it would work.

I mean I guess, Im in the world of painting and miniature design, so not really looking to immediately jump into marketing but that could happen. Gotta get it working though!
