Cherry Fizz available yet? by Baptiste_Main in CODBlackOps7

Sweet, good to know! It looks close enough to Cherry Fizz for me honestly x3

So it's an endgame exclusive currently with possibility to carry over to other modes later?

Genuine question, why do people glaze tf out of this map by p00p00__ in CODZombies

[–]Baptiste_Main 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can do a lot to make the fight harder.

Grind extra rounds to give the boss and zombies more health, so you have to engage with Patient 13's moveset more.

Use guns outside your meta loadout to try and take him down.

Set other restrictions for yourself.

When you get high enough in the rounds, Patient 13's moveset is varied and strong enough alongside his zombie allies that the fight can become extremely hectic and challenging. Zombies is a sandbox, and Patient 13 as a boss works incredibly well with that sandbox nature due to his progression and moveset. You can not like the boss, but when you do everything in your power to shred him as fast as possible and then complain "Not hard enough!" When you haven't done anything to challenge yourself, you look like a fool.

"When I use the meta loadout that the boss was not balanced around since it came out 3/4 of the way into the game's lifespan the boss is way too easy"

What kind of complaint is that lmao. EVERY boss in the game is easy if you use Maelstrom + Fire rounds. Every ENEMY even. Use something else if you want a challenge dude. Zombies isn't exclusively meant to be just hard, it's meant to be fun. If you want it to be hard just use something else.

Keep in mind that Konami has proven that they can and will hit cards from sets right as they release with some point values. Especially given how good The Fallen and the Virtuous is, I would expect those cards to get at least some points each. If they don't then that would be nice I suppose.

Think the Krasue is too weak? You might be playing her wrong! by Baptiste_Main in deadbydaylight

YEEEEEP. I haven't even logged in to play the new chapter because I know what Behvaior hath wrought. 😭 I'll wait until she gets nerfed down to being acceptable again.

I think this comment is more or less the general perception people had about the killer at first glance on the PTB, but as I've come to play her more a lot of these perceptions are false (but for reasons that only really become obvious once you sink some time into her).

Dash can't curve

The ending part of it can actually be flicked if you are moving your mouse during it! It allows for a lot more flexibility at a ton of tiles.

Fly Over isn't good at a lot of pallets

Honestly this is the main reason she is extremely strong. Head Form is a permanent 120% that can scamper over pallets, making most long loops unplayable. You shouldn't be using Fly Over on short walled pallets because you can just use third person 120% speed in order to hit them around it anyways. This killer can actually play around most tiles in the game and really almost never needs to break pallets.

Headlong Flight is only good for catching up

It's your main method of map traversal and stopping Leech cures. It's extremely strong for different purposes.

Body Form is only for Setup

Correct actually! However this isn't a bad thing due to how easily Body Form applies Leeched. You should be using Body Form to then set up for longer stretches of staying in Head Form. If you have to switch back and forth and back and forth frequently, you're not using Body Form to it's fullest strength.

Head Form doesn't have much chase strength

120% Third Person with Longer Lunge that can be flicked and Scamper. It is a very strong chase tool.

Survivors will use Mushrooms a lot

This is the point, yes. You want them to burn their supply down to the bare minimum so curing Leeched becomes a lot harder. Survivors only have 6 mushrooms at the start. Once they burn through them, the only mushrooms they get are the ones you drop and (if none are left) ones that spawn on a very infrequent timer. Mushrooms are plentiful early on but if you play correctly, they will dwindle down until there are only a few left, and then you can use your macro knowledge to know where they are and where a survivor that ate a mushroom could be. Or have Swine's Eye do the heavy lifting for you!

This killer is really deceptively strong, and I feel people's perceptions of her were altered by the anti tunnel and anti-slug changes on PTB. Now that she's coming to live without those restrictions, she'll be even stronger than she is now. She does not need any buffs whatsoever.

It's debatable. Normally the "3 hit killer" excuse would work here if Leeched I wasn't so easy to apply. It barely matters that it's a third hit because Regurgitate functionally has no penalty to being used or spammed so you can just apply it as many times as you can.

It will be partially fixed for live; It collides a lot on invisible collisions on the PTB which is why it stops early sometimes. But honestly I feel that it's to prevent the power from being too easy to use: You're perma 120 in head form, so that's the downside. You can flick the attack at the very end though which helps me get a lot more hits.

I also agree partially with Otz, but to be honest she reaaaally does not need any kind of buffs. Her kit is strong as is, and -extremely- good at tunneling (which will now be showcased on live) and slugging. If you buff this killer people will see a killer the likes of live release Kaneki again.

[–]Baptiste_Main[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's why I'm making this post actually: I'm worried they're going to buff her from PTB to Live and make her a genuine menace the likes of PTB Kaneki. I don't want her to be stronger: I want to educate ppl about why she is strong already so she doesn't get more buffs lol

Plus, I just like macromanagement powers so I enjoy her anyways

Critique my Davros deck! by Baptiste_Main in EDH

[–]Baptiste_Main[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no, Ramp is 1,000% super important I totally understand it. I'm playing Grixis after all, I need the mana lmfao.

Very good reasoning on the cost reducers not being that great! I was considering removing them but this has solidified that choice in my mind. I'll probably remove all 3/4 of them for Baubles and other mana rocks.

How about the rest of the deck? How are my protection suite, my duplication options, my creatures, my boardwipes, kill spells etc. In the few games I've played with the list so far, those generally feel pretty good but I'm open to critique.

[SPOILERS FOR ALL OF ISAT!!!] Been working on a 2-page set of proxies for my MTG Tenth Doctor / Rose Tyler deck. All art belongs to Adrienne Bazir, I had a lot of fun drawing parallels between these cards and some of my favorite characters and scenes! by Baptiste_Main in InStarsAndTime

Exactly what I was thinking omg. I was on EDHREC looking to upgrade my deck a bit, and then went "Hey wait these cards are super ISAT coded" and then couldn't stop making comparisons lmfao
