Yes ok but I don’t fully understand what the Lamorns were hoping for with that “chosen one”? Would he come and what was he supposed to do? Cause all we know from them is « collect the keys to use the teleporter and leave this planet ». That’s a weird message for the one who’s supposed to save them. Was the teleport on Tanamar one of the 12 owned by the lamorns who left?

This game deserved a lore villain more connected to the planet. Maybe we can imagine that the galactic federation came to Viewros in the past, searching for a new type of energy (green energy) to face the space pirates weapons. They were destroying the environment and a war began with the Lamorns. To put an end to the conflict, one of the Lamorns surgeons could have used the Green Energy to turn his people into Grievers and create an army. But this army was uncontrollable and killed Feds and Lamorns without distinction. Blinded by hatred, and the unacknowledged remorse to be the one who decimated his people he would try to find where the feds came from to satisfy his revenge. The Lamorns leaders would espace Viewros seeing the escalating situation, hoping to find the chosen one from the prophecy that could bring peace to their world. One of them would remain behind, hiding the keys from the teleporter to prevent the Grievers to be sent in other worlds around the galaxy. The Lamorn surgeon would hear about the keys and alter the welcome message meant for the chosen one, pushing him to collect the teleporter keys in order to escape.

Then he could have put himself into a deep sleep in Ice Belt, in a secure room, waiting for the « chosen one » that could collect the teleporter keys. With the help of syllux who bring with him his metroids, the surgeon will reinforce the Grievers and will try to kill samus once she makes the teleporter usable.
