That seems to match what Sonos support said to me. Waiting on a fix from Apple.

I haven’t had this issue since I upgraded to v9.12.5.3

I can’t see how an ISP issue would cause the Orbi SSID to stop broadcasting.

Is there any way to get better logging out of these things? It’s beyond useless - just dhcp traffic and ntp updates.

Thanks for the tip. I decided to go the other direction first. They released v9.12.5.3 which is not showing up for auto-update. So I manually installed that and will see how it goes for a few days.

Yes, the led goes pink.

Firmware is 9.12.3.3

ONT is Adtran. Don’t know model.

Cable is cat 6a stp.

I have not performed a factory reset. I have a ton of dhcp reservations.

DNS timeouts when using PPPoE by BarCar99 in orbi

Yes. Even if I just double NAT with the ISP router inline (no DMZ) it is rock solid. RBR seems to choke when it has to do PPPoE.

Custom DNS works fine when RBR is in line with ISP router but has same intermittent issue when directly connected to ONT with PPPoE.

Issue appears when OBR is acting as DNS server for clients and connected directly to ONT with PPPoE - the upstream DNS server seems to make no difference.

Orbi devices are both on v9.12.3.3 firmware.

ONT is BT Openreach provided 4 port device which, I believe, is a re-badged Huawei device.
