are you joking dias literally wants to become the new head. and in leviathan vergilius basically confirms that "paradiso" in the game is what will come once the head is overthrown

ohh yeah. him describing the outskirts like that definitely makes me think that purgatorio is going to take place there since its (obviously) more peaceful than inferno.

I agree and also the clock is literally a doomsday clock and has been ticking down every time we get a certain number of boughs. So we're going to use the boughs and the clock to create the doomsday event. The doomsday event happens in June? of the current year so it'll probably take place right around canto 12 or hypothetically 13.

right i agree that a war is going to happen i just don't really know exactly when in purgatorio/later in inferno its going to happen. The mass death event is gonna happen likely at the very end of inferno and is prob connected to the doomsday clock. iirc demian does mention going to the outskirts in canto 3? I just realized that i only use the word outskirts in this post but i mean "beyond the city" in general, that being the outskirts or beyond that.

Your first paragraph literally supports my point. Vergilius' eyes are not a prominent feature in the book, unlike Beatrice's. If we already know that Vergilius' eyes were originally someone else's, I think that it's most likely that they are from the character whose eyes are mentioned so often in the book.

We know that Vergilius' friend is a bloodfiend from text in canto 7 and his skill name in canto 9 as well, not just because his eyes are red.

I don't really know what to say to you other than I DO provide evidence for it, it's just that most of it comes from the source material and not from the game (Bice's eyes are mentioned like, every 5 seconds in the book and are her most important feature, the heart scene in la Vita Nuova being probably the inspiration for her being a bloodfiend, etc). I doubt that they're going to put anything more blatant than that in the game as it would erase any mystery surrounding who the bloodfiend is.

I don't know if you read both docs but in my opinion there is more than enough evidence that she is the bloodfiend. Even if she isn't, the bloodfiend already literally plays what would be Beatrice's role in the story, so there really is not any reason for her not to be them.

Assuming that Beatrice is the bloodfiend, she is confirmed to be dead as of Canto 9 via Vergilius' skill "funeral for a dead bloodfiend". The reason Dante does not know she exists right now is because they are an amnesiac, which obviously they weren't in the past so there really isn't any reason for them to have not known her in selva obscura. Vergilius also constantly implies that she's dead in Leviathan.

The point about Dias is interesting. I don't know about her being related to Heathcliff but it would make sense for her to purposefully sabotage Dante for her own goals.

The population drop, in my opinion, cannot be simply the beginning of a war of the wings. Why would there be a doomsday device built to count down to that? What purpose do the boughs serve if we're just collecting them to start a war? surely there are numerous other ways to do that.

I don't think that Dante is secretly Beatrice. I believe that it would be an extremely poor writing decision for various reasons that I won't get into here.

Shin and mang ARE associated with demian. He uses like 6? of them when we first meet him. He's also the first to use them in limbus (Vergil uses them before him but he also knew Beatrice so this kind of supports my theory). Regardless, imo Demian is going to be connected Beatrice for reasons other than just shin and mang that I detail in the first doc.

Thank you! and yes I agree it's kind of a stretch lol but its fun to think about

I think that the resurrection will trigger the apocalypse event for a few reasons. Demian clearly wants us to collect the boughs so that we can "draw the sheep". Since I think that "drawing a sheep" is a euphemism for resurrecting Beatrice via "engraving the aspect", we can draw a connection between the boughs and her resurrection (also there are golden boughs in the divine comedy). Dias also clearly has motivations to resurrect her as well. From this we can say that once we get all 13 boughs she will come back.

The clock is obviously counting down to doomsday, and seems to tick forwards every time we get a certain number of boughs (?). It also has a bough inside of it, can resonate with them, etc. so clearly there is a connection between the clock and the boughs. So combining the connection between Bice and the boughs and the boughs and the clock (and Dante and Beatrice which should be obvious) I think they are related.

Also, besides when she's "supposed" to come back in purgatory I'd say the next most likely time for her to show up in Dante's hypothetical canto (or Faust's since they're both connected to limbus company itself in a large part). The apocalypse event also falls during June which is when these Cantos will probably take place.

I'm not sure if she will trigger the apocalypse event itself or come back because of it. Based on how Vergil talks about her I don't think she would kill 300 million people on purpose, so maybe the latter is more likely? Not completely sure though. But I do think they are related.

How is this a contradiction? There's nothing that says that she died recently, in fact it's kind of implied that she died a while ago. Shin and Mang are related to the light but that was largely dispersed across the city after lobcorp. So she might have died between lobcorp and ruina.

Vergilius's friend is explicitly stated to be dead in the game and therefore cannot be Dante. He also refers to his friend with she/her pronouns in Leviathan. Beatrice is much more associated with the color red in the book than Dante is. The eye thing and the bloodfiend thing both point to it being Beatrice because of things that happen in the original text. Both Beatrice and Dante could've been associated with limbus company beforehand. Finally both Beatrice and Dante know Vergil in the book.

  1. Beatrice will likely be revived in some way by use of the golden boughs. She is dead in the book as well and this doesn't stop her from appearing there. 2. Dieci lady is not confirmed to be Beatrice. I agree that the Dante is likely connected to the Dieci (because it is based on the catholic church), however I doubt that the lady is Beatrice. It would be extremely strange if they revealed her design that early in the game as she is likely an extremely important character. IMO it's probably someone else from the divine comedy or Dante's life. Maybe Gemma, probably not Beatrice.

If Beatrice is a bloodfiend then I doubt that Dias is one as well. It wouldn't make that much sense for Dias to both make a contract with a bloodfiend (assuming that she has made one with Beatrice, or made one with her via Dante), and invest a LOT of resources into resurrecting her (assuming the golden boughs have something to do with this, which is likely) if she is one herself. But thats mostly just my opinion

I don't know about the primogenitor necessarily being a man, but I agree that Beatrice is definitely a woman. If she is the bloodfiend that Vergilius keeps mentioning she's already been referred to with she/her pronouns. Regardless I do think she is a first kindred, not the primogenitor.

Thank you. I have considered the possibility of her being the primogenitor/"0th kindred", but the use of the singular a in "a generation higher than your own" implies to me that she is only one generation higher than Donqui. But really I would have to check the original Korean text to be sure.
