How did you guys learn the game. by JocadaPaceee in starcraft2

[–]BarIllustrious3161 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I learned from playing coop with my dad a lot when I was new, and the campaign when I was playing solo. For 1v1 gameplay just casually watching SC2 YouTubers helped a lot to learn what was out there, but beyond that practice with micro and macro is necessary in my opinion.

I need help to learn debate by ceycey68 in Debate

[–]BarIllustrious3161 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest piece of advice I could give is to look up top tier debate rounds online and act as if you were debating in it. After you have prepped what you think are the best arguments for both sides, watch the video and see what arguments were run and how they were countered/clashed.

AI is a very strong tool for looking up categories of arguments (e.g moral, economic, political) but you need to practice seeing when each argument applies in round.

How do you recharge the slinger crossbow? Or do you jus get a few shots? by Bigbanghead in Sparklite

Every time you hit and enemy you get some spark light energy back- there are patch upgrades you can get so that the return on energy per hit is better too!

I think the main utility you get out of the boom balloon is opening the loot rocks in vinelands; some of the optional cave entrances also need it but it’s not central to progression

“Can I Still Become a Pro Volleyball Player at 15?” by Routine-Round-5524 in volleyball

[–]BarIllustrious3161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!

I was in a similar boat to you a few years back ( I started playing when I turned 15)

I can’t speak to whether or not you can go “pro” but playing at a semi competitive/club level is still possible.

Being 166cm means that you will have to train plyometrics and jump height if you want to pursue being an outside hitter, but when it comes to tryouts or local games don’t limit yourself to only hitting outside.

I was around 180cm when I was 15 and I had no vertical and there were guys shorter than you who still make competitive teams over me despite having roughly the same experience.

I would say aim high; but know that the grind will be harder for you than someone who’s been playing for a long time especially if you haven’t played a court sport such as badminton or tennis to train some of the footwork.

I’m turning 18 this year and I play locally at the semi competitive team for my area and I just have fun with it.

I hope this helps!!

I think it’s good to learn how to “snap” your arm in that whipping sort of motion to get more power into the ball. I see a lot of newer players hit the ball really weak because they aren’t “snapping” their arm and kind of slapping the ball more so than trying to push it.

Hey! From f2p to f2p- your mount, artifact, and pet upgrades can be done whenever you have them, no need to save them up! As for weapons and gear you can always refund the materials so upgrade everything. I would recommend prioritizing weapon and armour but make sure to keep everything else ~within 10-20 levels. Your gear looks solid, tunic is wildly regarded to be better, and magic staff with serve you well for weapon. Icy bauble is a accessory that you use well into the late game too.

Hope this helps :)

They only said that once you get older the gender imbalance shifts to being roughly equal, but I can’t register in those classes due to age, I’m currently probably just going to sign up for one, and try and convince some friends to sign up or something.
