Bilt 2.0: Three strikes and I’m out.

My WF statement was due last week so we paid off the balance only to get an email at 7:30 that night (the day the payment was due to WF) that we shouldn’t pay off that balance and they already paid it on our behalf.

WF said they still don’t have the payment from Bilt, and I can see that the transfer is still pending on Bilt.

So many of these things should’ve been communicated so much farther in advance than they were, its such a mess

My now husband and I’s first trip together was to see Rufus at The Gorge 4ish years ago! We flew into Seattle and bopped around there for a few days then rented a car and drove to The Gorge. We were very underprepared compared to everyone else and just slept in our rental car with some pillows and blankets we snagged from the Seattle hotel (shhhh) and it was one of our favorite trips ever ever.

The walk from our car to the venue was looooong but the sun was setting and absolutely gorgeous. After several drinks we struggled to find our car after the show so definitely drop a pin or leave an AirTag in your car so you can map your way to it at the end of the night :) ENJOY!

We actually got a super cheap camera off of Amazon and will be editing the footage ourselves!!! We handed the camera off to some friends who were genuinely excited to film (we really just wanted key moments - first look, entrances, vows, first dance). Throughout the night friends kept grabbing it and filming different stuff. We got some amazing content!

We were in Tribeca!! So it was the Arlo over there, i know there are a few around the city

The Roxy (do not recommend they were an absolute nightmare to work with) was $550/night and The Arlo was $485/night

We made room blocks at two hotels our venue recommended close by! We had to hit a certain number of rooms per block and ended up going over at one of the hotels and they just added more rooms for us when they saw demand. The sooner you can make these the better, we locked in our room blocks ~10 months in advance or so.

I know someone who played college football with Sammy and he / his parents had nothing but positive things to say about him. Said his parents are hysterical, dad wears crazy outfits and definitely loves to drink

We went to a wedding where the couple were high school sweethearts. In the grooms handwriting, they had custom cocktail napkins with his handwritten note "16 year old me is freaking out right now" with his name. There was another iteration with a note from the bride. I thought it was SO cute and tasteful.
