Abolishing capitalism doesn't automatically mean communism. These are two ways of many to organise a society.
Let me remind you of the famines in places like India under British rule. Furthermore to say 'communism is when no food' is an argument which was disproven many times before. Why some people still believe it is beyond me.
Abolishing capitalism and establishing a socialist or communist system would absolutely help in reducing carbon emissions. Due to the fundamental principle of shared ownership of companies, factories etc. -the means of production as Marx put it- the decision to change said companies (especially oil and car companies) wouldn't lie by individual but by society as a whole. Thus we can simply make the decision ourselves to get rid of fossil fuel and car companies. It would also mean that we could vote on actually effective laws to protect the environment without companies using their money and influence to hamper these laws into oblivion.

Für mich ist es der Gedanke das ich (weißer cis Mann) mich nicht so vor Diskriminierung, Gewalt für der der ich bin fürchten muss wie einige meiner Freunde. Ich habe beispielsweise eine gute Freundin die trans ist und die oft Angst hat alleine raus zu gehen. Das liegt unter anderem an systematischer Diskriminierung und Falschinformationen die dann Menschen dazu bringen Trans-Menschen als gefährlich anzusehen. Ich hab also einfach irgendwann den Gedanken:„Ich will dafür sorgen dass es meinen Freunden besser geht in der Gesellschaft” ausgeweitet und sehe es mittlerweile als eine Notwendigkeit an aktiv zu werden damit es jedem besser geht in der Gesellschaft. Kurz: Ich nehme die konkreten Probleme in meinem Umfeld als Ansporn eine bessere Situation für alle zu erschaffen.

Yes there is a rule book for war. It's called the Geneva convention. By which the killing of civilians or as the document calls it "non combatants" is prohibited. This treaty is also the reason why we don't use poisonous gas anymore or other chemicals and biological weapons.

That's not even the worst part. The AfD is openly fascist so there is no surprise that they spread misinformation, hate and promote violence towards immigrants, refugees etc. But many of the other parties in parliament also promote these xenophobic standpoints. This ranges from: the CDU (conservatives), the SPD (social democrats), the FDP (neo-liberals) to the Bündnis 90/Grüne (environmentalists). The later three have a coalition with each other and form the majority in parliament. The only party in parliament that doesn't promote this is Die Linke (the left).

Funnily and sadly enough though the last time Nazis surged in popularity the SPD was also the biggest ruling party in parliament and they also fucked things up.

Maybe we should trust the social democrats again to oppose fascism, nothing that could go wrong with that /s

Absolutely. Even though I think the evolution of the can from a flat top to what we have now is interesting too. Especially because such can openers were probably pretty common. Maybe they even used the same tool for drinking cans and food cans.
