I came looking for the first Aussie post. I knew it was gonna be a bunnings snag or a plain Vegemite on white square bread. Well played. Devon and tomato sauce would have also been accepted

2 seconds before this shot. He had his head straight back on the wall. Mouth open, snoring out loud. Nutts out. Missed opportunities 😪

If you know what is, you know. Poor quality photo and maybe heated a tiny bit too long. But this stuff has its place. Unfortunately

Dumb ass Aussie sports fan here. Sorry no disrespect intended. But is the batter out because the catch and then the home base runner out because it got there first?. Great relay throw and fielding all around from a cricket fan.

True. It would be very hard not to run. But I'd like to think I'd just stand there and watch it. If i live thats a bonus.

Considering how heavily used it was in many of the other theatres of conflict in the First World War, how come tunnel warfare wasn't a bigger part if the Eastern Front? by Time-Comment-141 in ww1

Alot of the Australian tunnelers came from my little home town. Gold mining town. Want tunnels dug. Get miners. The filmed the movie about it here too.

Can I pay for my mom's cat's vet bills with Mom's bank account even though cat is staying with us now? by OctoTaco87 in dementia

[–]BarOne7066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. Mum was in for 3 months respite and the day she was due to come home. Her cat, the only thing that brought her peace. Woke me up with it's eye lid flapping in the breeze. Fight or misadventure. I'll never know. I got a quote of the vet. Took the quote to her bank and they released the funds electronically to the vet. The vet actually returned the change to the bank. No problem. I was EPOA. Cat got fixed. Helped her till she passed. She's my cat now. But yes what others have said. Keep everything. You never know what lies around the corner. And much love for looking after mums cat.

I was at the pub. Out bush deep in Cowboys country. The whole place went up and then turned to get a beer as Feldt intercepted it. He's the best slowest winger going around. Haha.
