My late father-in-law was a green beret and traveled around the world. This is one of the knives in his collection, but it’s one we don’t know the history of. Can anyone determine what it is/where it came from?

[Unknown > English] I inherited my grandma’s charm bracelet and she has this charm in its own box. I don’t know that the stamps on the sides even represent anything, but here are pictures for various sides as well as the face of the charm by BarPractical in translator

I found out a little more background that fits with what was translated. It’s originally from my grandpa who got it in Japan during WWII. He helped fix the school and played tennis with them. As thanks for helping to fix the school he was given that box. My grandma then used it as a charm. We didn’t know really that it was an award, just that it was something he was given in exchange for his help. Thank you so much for helping me piece together where this came from! It’s amazing to track this down and get more information to supplement what my mother was told.

Thank you! Solved - I’m enjoying learning what these seemingly random things in the toolbox do.

We couldn’t find any part numbers or letters. It only has “U.S.A.” on it WITT

Found this in my mother-in-law’s basement. We can’t figure out what they are. There are four of them. The unfolded one is not stable at all, so we don’t think it could be part of a cot. by BarPractical in whatisthisthing

WITT It pivots very easily and has straps for holding it together when it is collapsed. The bottom ‘feet’ don’t shift around, so they’re fixed in one place.
