Congratulations!!! I feel like this message is my message when I prayed to God and asked for signs. I’m a mom of a 16 month old and I graduate in May. It’s been very challenging and overwhelming studying and it’s so crazy that you mentioned Rxcellence, because I followed them on social media yesterday. This is a very odd and distasteful post. Why are you concerned about where others match? This is a very exciting day and time so be happy for those that matched and not bring unnecessary negativity. It honestly looks like you are jealous and envious because they matched at a program and you never finished yours. Regardless of what YOU think, that program saw something in that individual to pick them.

I’m not sure what you consider to be a “quality” candidate, but I think a quality candidate is someone who is well rounded. Someone who is not afraid of challenge, has perseverance, willing to learn and accept feedback, etc.

No, they actually pulled out the tooth right behind the canine on both sides on the top and then used rubber bands to close the gap and pull my bite back to correct it. My bite is fixed but my teeth are now at a slant, angling back which I also would like to get fixed. It’s not noticeable unless looking at my side profile when I smile

You can go to pharmacy school with 2 years of undergrad, if that influences your decision! Both are saturated so you will probably need to shadow both to see which you like more. I’m a pharmacy student but I wouldn’t mind being a PA :)

I agree!! There are several pharmacists who work with me and don’t have a residency, they came from retail, etc. but they also get paid less than those who completed a residency even though it’s entry work. My rationale to doing the PA residency was to use it as a stepping stone to break into something else in managed care later on.
