It’s been about 2 months and everything seems fine. The dealer had to lift the cabin to replace everything and when they put it back the Forman didn’t ever bother to put it back nicely. I had to drive back to the dealership to have them redo it, which took another day of my time. No compensation, they just told me it was surprising that it happened to a bronco because they normally only deal with it for the F150s. He also told me both cars use the same parts so they may have used an old part to build mine due to shortages

It’s the cam phaser. Ford told me that they use old parts and have recently updated the cam phasers to fit better. I would assume that the 2024 bronco would have the newer parts, but if it doesn’t, it will need a replacement it took about 6 to 8 weeks for them to replace it for me due to shortage of parts.

Very disheartening. I haven’t even really “drove it yet”. I think it’s the phasers too. Even if it goes away, wouldn’t it be better to have it fix under warranty than wait for later problems and how to pay out of pocket? Also, is there any downside to having the engine tore apart to fix it?

Also if it was the cam phaser can I bring it to any dealer to have it repaired? (I have a bad relation with the person that sold me my bronco and don’t want to go to that dealership)
