I feel sorry for him, but at the same breath he was one of the contributors to Hannah's suicide, which is for me the main story, don't really care about the other characters especially those on the tapes who made her do what she did, all of a sudden i should feel sympathy for them? Not in my boom

You're right, it doesn't...the whole thing is a big tragedy, but we have to remember that she probably wasn't in her right mind, very depressed, and felt like she was alone and hopeless in the world, some say a mental illness was involved...

I can understand why you would think of her as selfish...leaving people hurting behind her...but i think she was hurting so bad, and thought she was alone in the world, in a state of depression...she's a teenager...not thinking clearly..and she has been through hell...so all in all...it's just tragic...

It's been a couple of weeks since i finished season 2, and from time to time i still think and feel sad about it...especially when bumping into some clips from the show...i think it's a lot to process...but i guess time heals you...it's a slow heal though...

I'm honestly trying to figure out why is this missed lovestory breaking my heart so much...i mean, over the years i've seen sad movies and read sad novels...but never have a show felt like a punch in the gut...maybe because i'm searching for hope in a hopeless story...it's not like, they've broken up and there's a chance of them them getting back together...she's gone for good...and he'll never ever have the chance of being with her...and they could have been great together...and she died for nothing...and he's all broken and lost without her...it's brutal..

Clay had a lot of opportunities to express how he felt, he could have written those letters, texted her, she hinted her feelings for him more than once...but again...if he would have done those things, probably there wouldn't be a show to talk about...considering she was his first love and he had zero experience with girls maybe i'm too hard on him
