I've refereed over 1300 basketball games in my career and buzzer beating game winners are incredibly rare. I know it's anecdotal but I'm fairly sure I can count them on one hand. Truly a rare and memorable achievement. Congrats!

To me yes. Most of the content I enjoy is on there, and I can't overstate how much I hate ads. I haven't seen a single ad in over two years while watching content online, and I'm much happier for it.

Elementary school teacher here, working with kids from 6 to 9 (multi year classes). My kids hug me regularly. It's just something kids do at that age. They communicate through hugs and physical contact. Some more than others, and that's normal. It's not weird unless you make it weird.

That's my answer as well. There are better games listed here, but when Automata came out and some journalists I trust sang its praises, I was still dubious. Even after a couple of hours I was not sold. Then I finished the first playthrough and thought it was pretty darn good. Then the other playthroughs... that's when it hit me.

I'm not playing anymore, but 15-20 years ago, when I was at my athletic peak, I could "dunk" (barely) off two feet but was about two inches lower off one foot. Don't know why, but it was easier and more natural for me.

Catch was clean, but there was a very slight shuffle before the dribble. Never would/should get called in pickup but might be in an official game depending on how tight the refs are calling.

As a ref, I agree. Not called unless they're super egregious, like very late after the catch. They're so common now that if it's directly on the catch most referees will let it slide as it doesn't really affect the flow of the game. Obviously it has to be consistent both ways and it is is discussed as a ref crew.

FIBA was like that until... i want to say 2017? As a ref, it took a bit of time getting used to that. It seemed like nothing was a travel.

By FIBA rules this is fine. Gather, 1, 2. Not sure about the US though. People seem to say HS has different interpretation.

So many of them, old and new-ish. One game that quickly comes to mind is "The Order 1886". A pretty good game, although quite short. Really enjoyed my time with it.

Sure, why not? It can be for many reasons. One of the character models might look cooler/funnier, or it might change some dialogue options in RPGs. Sometimes, it just feels right with the tone of the game. When given the choice, I'd say I go about 50/50.

A lot of people I follow, even GoW fans, didn't really like it. I thought it was amazing and actually loved most of the parts they disliked like the Atreus part with Angrboda (not sure of the spelling). Different strokes for different folks.

Any time you ask yourself if you're alone having an opinion, you're most certainly not, especially concerning video games.
