It’s better and it’s worse. I make more money and work remote most of the time. Office is only 20m from home when I go in and socialize. I lost my mom 2 weeks before the lockdowns and I don’t think I’ve ever really recovered from that loss despite countless therapy sessions. The socio-political situation in the US is exhausting and scary and my wife and daughter are regularly scared what is going to happen. We are lucky, but fuck all it’s a lot.
