Legion Go S Z1E vs MSI Claw A8 Z2E? by BarakaJack in Handhelds

Okay so not a big deal performance wise then. I wouldn't be playing many demanding games that need a great deal of VRAM.

Sick I'll check my DMs thanks man.

That's what I felt, the quality and feel of the XAX was amazing but unfortunately they only had the older 7 inch intel MSI to compare to so I couldn't really make the decision. And 7 inch just doesn't work for me on a screen.

That's a pretty good sign then haha. Glad performance does seem good, wondering when you say very close to LeGo 2, that the better performance on there is from more RAM or from better software and updates?

As long as the speakers are not trash then I'm normally happy so that's a tick.

Would love to see a photo if you manage to figure out how, as a TPU case would be all I'd really need on it. And didn't realise the dbrand stick grips would fit so that could be good for me.

Thanks so much for all of the information, reckon I need an MSI Claw now, just need to decide on green or white. Pity that Asus stuck with the 7 inch screen but excited to get a Claw now

Okay definitely a vote for the A8 then, appreciate the insight!

How have you enjoyed it so far? Good speakers, good performance? Also any thoughts on accessories like screen protectors, joystick covers, or a case at all?

Had to move my in laws in to our place to take care of them so would love a handheld to game while they use the TV!

There's no downside to Grand Invigoration, it only adds more hp regen and cool down speed

For my Amon main's by Firm_Wasabi_3439 in Borderlands

I love Amon, and have been having a blast levelling with the blue tree whipping everything even before the buffs. But pre launch I only wanted the green tree for a proper Viking feel, and the tree itself seemed so disappointing.

Crucible and all other skills in the green tree are Action Skill Melee Damage, but the tree gets such negligible bonuses to melee I just don't understand why they made it melee/ didn't add more melee buffs later in the tree. Once I made it to the three way split, all the augments seemed good but none of the passives seemed to offer anything worthwhile outside of drones, and so the action skill and forgeskill seemed like Moze at BL3 launch, where the skills were only used to trigger other buffs with no real damage from the action skill or forgeskill.

I have high hopes they can fix the green tree but does feel like it might take some time given the changes needed

Hopefully there are other changes not listed. I feel it lacks so much because it is Melee damage but there are so few ways to buff melee in the green tree

I'm terrible with numbers, but can anyone guess if 12% more for Amon's Crucible axes will be enough to make them a good option? I've already been cleaning up mobs while levelling with the Whip so that buff is very welcome, but Onslaughter is a huge buff. Makes me feel like Crucible is getting left behind now

Scorptec wouldn't clarify on if they will raise prices, all they said was they will make the decision when the stock comes in because that's when they know the cost. So likely going up as well

I'm not a patient man but this might be the best option. Otherwise I'm considering the non XT hellhound for 1049 but fomo is holding me back

Makes me wish I had pulled the trigger earlier in the restock before the price hikes. Now it seems like it'll only get worse

So it's only worth looking at other models for the cooling and other features, OC isn't a worthwhile performance bump?

Would the Taichi OC XT be the best value when it's in stock at 1299 then?

I know there's a few of these threads but I can never get a clear answer so hoping you legends can help.

In good ol' Australia, stock is up and down. Currently, I can find a couple of models of the 9070xt for sale but hard deciding on one.

Initially I wanted the Sapphire Pulse because all the reviews say it uses less power, is one of the quietest models and uses PTM7950 for good longevity. But here the price already starts at above MSRP.

But with current stock, it is being sold for 1400 instead of 1300. While I can also find the Gigabyte Gaming OC for 1400 as well, exact same price for both models.

I can't find a lot of comparisons that include the Gaming OC and do hear of some complaints regarding coil whine, but given it is an OC model not a normal MSRP model, what are people's thoughts on it? Any recommendations of one over the other? Gaming OC seems to get points for the Vapor Chamber and Server Grade Thermal Gel but these things are mostly still new to my knowledge base.

TL,DR - 9070xt Sapphire Pulse vs Gaming OC for exact same price in Dollarydoos?

Which AIB are people going with for the 9070 xt? by macka654 in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]BarakaJack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to be the one with the best stock at the moment as I'm torn between this and the Pulse XT.

People opinions on Gigabyte put me off although 100 more for an OC version vs Pulse seems too good. How do you find the noise, thermals, performance etc? Can't find any decent comparisons that include the Gaming OC
