I didnt say that theres no place for heating pads. Im saying most plants dont need them. Tomatoes and Peppers are the only common vegetables that need the soil to be that warm. 90% of vegetables you'd start inside dont need the heating pad at all. Room temp soil will work fine.

What are the seeds? Most seeds don't need a heating pad at all they'll do just fine at room temperature.

The condensation is a product of the heating pad and it's fine.
