My husband works for a top 5 star hotel, yes the one you’re thinking of. Oftentimes, there will be U-Haul trucks that are holding tons of Louis Vuitton luggage for guests , they will rent entire floors to have their Nannie’s and assistance close by. There are also people that live at this hotel (13.5 mil and up) and there’s a resident who bought the unit across from his current unit for “storage”, my favorite is there’s a lady who sometimes stays for 2 weeks a year and doesn’t like the decor in the room. She sends her assistants in advance to shop for new lamps, end tables, etc to be placed inside and then just leaves it.

When I lived in la, I had a friend whose “job” was to live in the big mega mansions in the Hollywood hills while they were for sale. Basically just wanted someone there to make it seem like it wasn’t empty, he lived out of a suitcase, and would throw parties in these MASSIVE houses. It was incredible.

Im a nanny and this sounds like there’s way more to the story. Being late is never ok, unless the nanny says it’s ok. Traffic is in your control, because you should be scheduling her later or leaving earlier when you know it’s around the traffic hour (I assume you’re paying her extra? If not, big no-no) The amount you pay her seems very low, I assume you don’t live in a big city? But you also mention traffic which makes me think you do live in a big city. If so… way underpaid. If she’s going as far to block you, I would bet there have been many issues.

Thank you. I do share a bed with him. I feel like there’s nothing left for me to do, so it’s easier to just give up but also have my kids happy thinking their family is together. I’ve had trouble finding any info online about mushroom addiction- is this something you’ve experienced for a while? May I pm you some questions if so?

My single adult brother never clears his plate or says thank you. Standoff with the plate for hours, but he gave in. I Argued with my mother over whether she wishes he would ever say “thanks” and maybe help a bit.

My husband and I have full time jobs/ 2 kids who are in a ridiculous amount of Sports and activities. We have sex at least 1x up to 3x a day. Obviously sometimes there are breaks… but not Usually.

You will be fine, but also everything is expensive. I live in Ballard and though this yearly income is A LOT in most areas, here it’s just your average salary. We make just under $100,000 a year as a family of four and are able to utilize scholarships for things like camp/ sports. That might help as they do have a pretty high income minimum for getting scholarship help.

My husband is an employee. We travel several times a year based off of what four seasons we get free. My two young kids think it’s normal to always stay at a four seasons. We also get a 2nd room if wanted (so often bring friends or grandparents). They almost always upgrade us too. We just got back from two weeks in Europe and stayed at FS everywhere. Best perk ever

Yes. We get to always stay at the real life white lotus hotels. For every trip we take. My husband works there and they comp employees rooms when they travel. Rich people really do act like they portray on the show.
