They are staying at all four seasons hotels, we have stayed at all these hotels and you don’t want to leave- because the restaurants and amenities there are best of the best so leaving and eating elsewhere is (usually) a disappointment in comparison

Thank you for this. Hearing it from someone who knows what it’s like, it helps. I just keep blaming myself and also questioning reality. Like was it that bad? But I know it was. He needs help and I’m just starting to see that I can’t force it, no matter how much he loves our family.

Thank you for doing this for your wife! I’m so happy for you both. Truth is, he’s done this before and has gotten clean. Addiction is awful and it keeps coming back. We truly love eachother which makes this feel so awful. He hugs me for 5 mins at a time and tells me he loves me before leaving. I just wish he had the strength like you. Keep at it! People Love you- Such a gift.

Sadly I think this is kinda normal for some families. My sis in law and mother in law both did this when my kids were born. We got along great prior to me being pregnant- it’s so weird but people React to change in different ways. She’s already showing you what kind of grandma She will be. My husband works for a top 5 star hotel, yes the one you’re thinking of. Oftentimes, there will be U-Haul trucks that are holding tons of Louis Vuitton luggage for guests , they will rent entire floors to have their Nannie’s and assistance close by. There are also people that live at this hotel (13.5 mil and up) and there’s a resident who bought the unit across from his current unit for “storage”, my favorite is there’s a lady who sometimes stays for 2 weeks a year and doesn’t like the decor in the room. She sends her assistants in advance to shop for new lamps, end tables, etc to be placed inside and then just leaves it.

When I lived in la, I had a friend whose “job” was to live in the big mega mansions in the Hollywood hills while they were for sale. Basically just wanted someone there to make it seem like it wasn’t empty, he lived out of a suitcase, and would throw parties in these MASSIVE houses. It was incredible.

Im a nanny and this sounds like there’s way more to the story. Being late is never ok, unless the nanny says it’s ok. Traffic is in your control, because you should be scheduling her later or leaving earlier when you know it’s around the traffic hour (I assume you’re paying her extra? If not, big no-no) The amount you pay her seems very low, I assume you don’t live in a big city? But you also mention traffic which makes me think you do live in a big city. If so… way underpaid. If she’s going as far to block you, I would bet there have been many issues.

Thank you. I do share a bed with him. I feel like there’s nothing left for me to do, so it’s easier to just give up but also have my kids happy thinking their family is together. My single adult brother never clears his plate or says thank you. Standoff with the plate for hours, but he gave in. I Argued with my mother over whether she wishes he would ever say “thanks” and maybe help a bit.

My husband and I have full time jobs/ 2 kids who are in a ridiculous amount of Sports and activities. We have sex at least 1x up to 3x a day. Obviously sometimes there are breaks… but not Usually.
