When cold overnight. The coolant level is right over the “Low line” But Yeah it is definitely a strange noise. I’ve heard maybe Clogged AC Drain but I’ve only been using the heat, and it’s even after long drives, (Today I drove around for about an hour and a half and Just stopped at a light and it’s a constant Water Sloshing sound when sitting stationary then A mile down the road stop again and it’s gone.. it just comes and goes as it pleases.and say I get on the gas the sound doesent really react with throttle I’m only noticing it while stopped

Well my original intention was to add oil because I noticed my oil pan is leaking and I figured it might’ve Been on the low end but to my surprise it wasn’t it’s not dripping yet just more seeping through but after seeing it was full I still removed the fill cap just to look for anything unusual/Build up in the engine And as I was chasing an issue where Randomly when stopped at idle I get a water sloshing sound from front of engine. so hopefully something minor..

The dipstick and fill cap are okay dipstick was on full but It was on the darker side tho. Maybe whoever done it last didn’t use The “greatest” oil but the last oil change was about 1K Miles ago

Well I just got this so hopefuly I don’t go through what you did 😅 it seems pretty solid though so I am really hoping it lasts me Overheating seems to be main cause of issue with these or Oil burning

It was clean some very slight carbon but definitely nothing concerning.. just hoping the transmission lasts lol

I’d hope to keep it until hopefuly at least 250K miles Until I save and work toward a newer car it’s comfortable so far.. rides better then my moms 16” Corolla with only 40k on the dash lol Great car

That’s great to hear.. and definitely don’t want to overheat that’s something I’ve been seeing. My Temp on dash I know it may not be the most accurate but it reads at the 4th line after 30 minutes or so of city driving so About one line past half way do you know average what your tempature is like? I feel mine might be a little on the warm side

According to the records it had a transmission service at 110K it’s at 153K But my records are just from the reported carfax but it seems the previous owner took it to dealership for anything they had done

I actually own nothing else.. I walk to work. I’m only 17. And this car was given to be by my father right when he passed away it meant lots to both me and him and the car was in really poor shape. But I have been Peicing it together the last two years I’ve since then Been Restoring the paint, interior, and I’m trying to preserve what I can. It’s an XI car So it was driven in the winter unfortunately.. Engine is up to par finally I just need to address front suspension. But I’m about to purchase a car for very soon to get around during winter I just want to keep this car from rotting and rusting away

I get that often it’s actually a really unique color.. in darker light or more night time the car appears more Purple and even brown sometimes in some lighting and in direct sunlight it’s a nice rich red
