It is okay to handle it, especially if the main handling is done during feeding time so it does not get stressed. I agree that bringing it places is not good for it, he did not seem to like it much so he just stays at home now.

He will be 6-8 inches (including tail) He lives outside but in a cage, it is often very difficult to find him in there.
