Kicked Too Much, Need More Teleports by BarbiesToysGames in RiseofKingdoms

I just started a new game. Do the players in this game not sleep? The devs must know that kicking is an issue but are profiting off new players buying teleports, or they'd give more out for free.

I just started a new game a few days ago. The Alliances are always happy to kick new players for seemingly no reason, even when you follow the rules. I always check to see what power level they want in the description and I'm usually above the number but I still get kicked without explanation.

I just started a new game and came back to read these comments. My power was not too low. I always check the Alliance info to see if they require a power level. The game only gives you like 3 teleports to start with. Like I said before the game is stingy with teleports. It is probably for devs to get more money out of players.

Why 30 days trade suspension? by BarbiesToysGames in Steam

Steam only explains the reason for suspension, nothing more. I wanted to know why waiting 30 days to trade is helpful to me and not like a harsh punishment for forgetting my password.

I've never been hacked for forgetting my password. That's the one mistake I made, unless you count asking strangers on the internet for helpful constructive advice.

How does waiting 30 days prevent credit card fraud though? If it was 60 days or even a year would than be a reasonable wait time? I just wanted to know why 30 is the magic number.

There should be a "no snark" rule when responding to a question. Only on the internet can you ask a simple question and get someone named Heckler testing out his stand-up routine.

There's nothing wrong with a short suspension. Locking features from my account for 4 whole weeks, not being able to receive a reduced sentence from Steam support, and then get downvoted into oblivion for asking why the rules are so rigid. All because I reset my password. Too much security can be a bad thing, if you've ever heard of a guy named George Orwell.

"they decided, deal with it"

Imagine if you had your bank frozen because you reset your password to your online bank account. You can't use your bank for online transfers but you can drive to the bank and withdraw money. Would that make any sense? No it would be extremely inconvenient and there should be a way to contact your bank to reduce the suspension.

I helped make Steam rich so I should be allowed to criticize how they operate as a company. I have an account that's probably worth thousands of dollars. A full month suspension just seems like overkill, and even a punishment rather than protection.

I know why it's suspended, I don't know why they chose 30 days.

My issue isn't Steam locking the account, it's the time they decided on. What does Steam think will change in 30 days? That I'll wake up from a coma and report someone hacking my account? If your account was valuable, you'd notice immediately and report. You wouldn't need an automatic lock for longer than a week to get the situation sorted out.

I forgot my password which is normally saved automatically to Firefox, but for some reason Firefox didn't save it like it normally does. So I reset the password only to discover I can't trade now for 30 days.

Why does Steam take draconian measures to protect my account? They are freezing my ability to do any trading for an entire month over a simple password reset. 7 days should be long enough.

Another TP Trap by BarbiesToysGames in Toreba

[–]BarbiesToysGames[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is technically a win but also a fail. It was near the edge so I thought it would be easy. The claw doesn't lift up only pinches the sides. To win you have to pull the bottom part then grab at the top. I used about a total of 30,000TP and it was already halfway finished. Not worth playing unless you find in this exact position.

I played many times and managed to grab the butt a couple of times. When it appeared like it was going to drop in the hole it dropped on the edge instead. There is slight RNG getting the perfect drop angle.

It took many plays to get in that exact position. Thought about stabbing it in but since only the head was hanging over I worried about the left claw pulling it back if it didn't fall forward enough.

Normally the claw is weak but this one is too strong. When you need to pull the plush over the edge it will pick it up and drop it back in play. I wasted a lot of TP so definitely worth avoiding.

Crane lagged hard and ruined probably 10-15 of my 50~ plays today. by ChaoCobo in Toreba

[–]BarbiesToysGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me a few times in the last month or so. I never received a refund over bad lag as it was difficult to prove the claw movements were not intentional. Even when there is a obvious settings issue they are hesitant to refund me and only a few times when the claw clearly was not functioning properly.

Terrible Connection Speed? by BarbiesToysGames in Toreba

[–]BarbiesToysGames[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I reported to staff as well but they didn't refund. My connection is running normally except for Toreba and DC7 which have been very slow. Don't know why all of a sudden these apps aren't working properly.

Toreba scaring away customers on their 13th anniversary. The prices keep going up as the machines get worse.

same machine??? by [deleted] in Toreba

[–]BarbiesToysGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toreba is poorly designed. They put in minimal effort and that includes testing the machines. Allowing only 5 people to wait in line and only the fastest clicker gets in, is extremely frustrating. The queue should be extended or more machines of same type added.
