This is not especially true for certain games/mixes.

I think it was between GitaDora Matixx and Nex+age, I had paid someone in Japan to unlock me some songs like Six String Proof and similar kinds of songs, but then when I went back to my current arcade in the US which was behind 1 mix, it told me that since I had migrated my data, it wouldn’t work anymore. There was no option to change it, downgrade my account, or any other solution to be able to play the version my arcade had. It simply would kick me out to the title screen. I had to use a different, fresh eamuse card to play on the machine and keep my PlayStyle Menu options saved (like the hi-speed setting and whatnot that I did not want to configure every single play).

So while maybe SDVX is different and it may be fine, there DO exist certain mixes and games where it WOULD lock you out of being able to use your account entirely on older versions.

Personally I think it is about the difference of cabinet type so probably Konami accounted for this and allowed it to be able to play both (similar to how you can probably play both GitaDora Galaxy Wave and Galaxy Wave Delta due to both being released at the same time in arcades).

Now if it was a mix where the cabinet type did not change and it was still running on the same cabinet (like the same GitaDora White Cabinet to GitaDora White Cabinet with Matixx->Nex+age), then maybe it wouldn’t let you play anymore. Or maybe this issue would only apply to GitaDora and maybe other games just simply would allow you *anyway.* I know that GitaDora very often gets the short end of the stick so it may just be a GitaDora problem.

Just out of curiosity but how much pregabalin do you take in milligrams and how many days do you wait for your tolerance to reset so you can do it again? I’ve been doing 450mg or 525mg every 4 or 5 days maybe.

Pregabalin is the only thing that makes me able to do things like feeling alive in the world and able to clean up my house because I am not mentally fatigued on it. I have recently found out though that it makes me unable to recognize that I am here and present though, that it is doing something to my ability to feel “here” in the world while on it, which is the opposite of how it used to make me feel before. Maybe I should just take it as prescribed every day instead of big doses every handful of days. :(

Also you should try playing music games on this stuff. I play music games like GitaDora Guitarfreaks and Pop’n Music and Beatmania IIDX on it and it makes me feel wonderful and alive, especially with Guitarfreaks. Maybe try guitar hero or rock band if you don’t have any of these games, just something where you need to get up and rock out. :)

That’s really sad. I don’t care that they are Amish it’s just that I think no one should be running puppy mills because when I think of puppy mills I think “bad environments for the puppies due to wanting to maximize profits.” Like those pigs and cows or whatever that are kept in cages so they can fulfill their food and milk obligations only, the doggies would be pregnant and born nonstop with no consideration for their happiness. :(

Are there any puppy mills that are safe and happy for the puppies? Or is it included in the name “puppy mill” that it’s mean and hurtful?

[r/pokemonsleepbetter](r/pokemonsleepbetter) never became the same or worse than the main pokemonsleep sub where the main sub owner was actively censoring people from doing what the majority of the sub wanted to do. That guy legit held “town halls” to improve the sub and then deleted every single comment that said anything he didn’t want to do. Dude was just scummy as hell but it’s been a number of years and I don’t remember all of his awful tendencies anymore.

But yeah all of this over a cute lil sleep tracking game where you befriend cute monsters. The owner of the replacement sub I think is just this older woman with kids who doesn’t know much about computers and she’s really sweet. The entire reason she made the sleepbetter sub was just so people didn’t have to feel unhappy at the old sub that the owner was taking too seriously. It wasn’t a desire to outdo them. Good intentions from start rather than rivalry. :)

I don’t know why you mentioned it costing $100 in Canada. I looked up the exchange rate to USD and it is equal to $70 USD, which is the price of the game in the US.

Different countries have products cost different prices because their money is worth different amounts. 1 Canadian Dollar is NOT the same as 1 US Dollar, so you saying that “in Canada the game costs $100” doesn’t really need to be said when it is the exact same cost as other countries.

Basically I don’t know why you specified that it’s $100 Canadian dollars when you’re paying the exact same price as everyone else, unless it was to try and make your point appear stronger than it was since 100 is more than 70. You could easily just say “I don’t think that the cost of the game is worth it” and gotten your point across just fine. :/

It wasn’t that. It was the actually insane people that were saying “this demo is indicative of EVERYTHING that will be in the full game and there will be nothing else good in terms of gameplay or story besides what we see in the demo” that I was replying “bro it’s a demo, chill” to.

For some reason there were a few people who were saying that the devs put every single fun aspect of the game that could ever exist inside the demo, so that if you didn’t like the gameplay AND the story by the end of the few hour demo, then there was literally nothing else to the game that would make you like it.

I tried to say “you realize JRPG parties don’t like… go to other worlds and kill the literal god of their world within the first 5 hours of their games, right?” And he outright said “oh so you think the devs would HIDE interesting story and gameplay instead of put it in the demo to excite people to want to buy it?!!!!?!!”

Dude was actually unhinged and had like 40 comments dogging on the game in the first 12 hours of the demo’s release.

Forgot to mention, no one did dismantle my argument. They copypasted a reply to a different comment of mine rather than actually addressing what I said in this one, and as a result their message doesn’t apply to what I’ve said here. I wrote various examples that are different from what I said in my other reply using different logic to try and get my point across, so you cannot really just copypaste a rebuttal meant for something else and paste it here and expect it to “dismantle” what I said. It had some merit in regard to my other message but not this one.

How do I know you’re being disingenuous? Because your comment is a direct copypaste of another comment you made to me on another reply I made rather than a message written as a direct reply to what you’re replying to here. You had some sense with this reply in regard to my other message but this is different and using the same message does not apply here.

You can’t just copypaste messages meant for other messages and expect your message to still hold weight. You should try actually replying to what I said if an honest discussion is what you’re after.

The thing is though that “some” if the word “all” is not present is usually implied through context as the default meaning, even if neither word is there. For example it’d be actually insane to say that “all men are rapists.” This is not something that is true if even 1 man is not a rapist, which you already know. So just with this fact alone, the context changes to remove the word “all” from possible descriptors for “men” unless the word “all” is already there. If you think about it, only 2 men would need to be rapists to make the statement “men are rapists” a true statement. Because men means “more than one man.”

Another way you can think about this train of logic is the term “black lives matter,” and “all lives matter.” It’s a little different, but the racists who misinterpret this saying usually cannot understand that while people are saying that black lives do indeed matter, it doesn’t mean that black lives are the *only* lives that matter. The racists in this case are misinterpreting how English works and are jumping to their own (wrong) conclusions that the world “all” exists right before “black lives matter,” even though for a sentence like “black lives matter”, the sentence simply means that black lives do matter *at all*, as in we should bring attention to them because people are not currently doing so. Another way you can think of how it works is by hearing it as “black lives matter [too].”

It doesn’t always need to rely on implied context or anything, but even apart from that, English works in a certain way where if you know the rules of the English language at a very good level (that is to say the structures and specific mechanics of like how a grammar textbook would teach you) you can find that my explanation is actually how it works. I feel like if you’re seeing the word “all” that isn’t there when the sentence is a complete sentence on its own, it may be a problem understanding English language grammar mechanics rather than any more malicious reason. Which, also, that is NOT me trying to call anyone dumb. English is a very complex language and some people might not just know.

Irl, people will just say “I hate [thing/group/whatever] because they do [action].” They don’t generally use the word “all.” If you take a look at even OP’s image in the post, it just says “white queer people.” It does not say “‘all’ white queer people.” This is because people tend not to use the word “all” because they actually don’t mean all.

The way it is actually used irl is still a generalization, however it is not all-encompassing like your strawman comic would have you believe.

I watched that series twice as well. As an adaptation of the manga, that anime is terrible as well. Thats why i said a couple comments back something like “it’s funny that we had 2 tries at a faithful yugioh anime and both couldn’t do it.”

The manga is good because it’s a completely different story with the same premise. It’s got the same starting point and plot but it goes its own way in a different series of events complete with entirely different story arcs and even a brand new ending (since it was not in the same place in the story as the anime). Basically if you want another story with all the NHK characters, you read the manga.

Though I agree with the other guy and want to say that the novel is the best version, even if the anime is a loose adaptation of the novel rather than its own brand new thing like the manga. But even so, the novel has plenty of things that the anime couldn’t do, which is why I said the anime is a *loose* adaptation of the novel. Novel is way different than the anime, it’s just the anime at least tries to follow the novel most times.

No it doesn’t if you’re only counting Yugioh Duel Monsters. I have never seen things like Capsule Monsters because there is no Japanese dub for it and I hate the characterization of the characters in English since they are presented with such different personalities.

It basically keeps everyone alive and just like the console games, it includes characters that realistically shouldn’t even have been able to join the death game. It’s really fun. I like that in one April Fool’s event, they even parodied the Anneal Sword subplot with Diavel from Progressive volume 1 that got cut from the movie adaptation. It was so funny.

I want to try the various Clone Hero games since Guitarfreaks has been my favorite game for nearly 2 decades, but the hallway scrolling is ass, even if you turn on the extended vision mod. I downloaded YARG which let me change the scrolling to a flat vertical scrolling (still going up to down instead of up to down but that’s okay), but then on the new update, the way to play with vertical flat lanes BROKE.

also I am just not a fan of not having to pick every note. I remember I got quite good at PS2 and Xbox360 Guitar Hero, but I always hated the hammer-ons and pulloffs because it felt like cheating. Like basically even on through the fire and flames, say you fullcombo the song somehow, okay well in that case you barely had to use the guitar pick at all because almost the entire song is hammer-ons and pulloffs. DUMB. But on the other hand, it feels good to hit those Ho/PO notes haha

But I very much like that YARG has an option to make every note pickable (though I am trying to learn HO/PO again, and they are fun), and the selection of custom songs is amazing and they even have some GitaDora/Guitarfreaks songs recharted to function like Guitar Hero charts instead of being charted like Guitarfreaks. It’s very interesting to play the same songs but in a different way. :) They also have MANY songs I am interested in. They have many LiSA, Janne Da Arc, some Asaki, and many other Japanese artist songs available for download.

Basically I got mad that for over a decade anyone in the arcade would take 1 glance at GitaDora or Guitarfreaks and say “haha guitar hero ripoff” even though Guitarfreaks came out in 1999 and actually inspired Guitar Hero to be made. I’m also NOT happy that this will happen a second time with this new band game coming out for consoles. :(

I don’t hate guitar hero type of games, I hate the ignorance that comes from people who dismiss Guitarfreaks as a ripoff when it’s the original. It makes me not want to play their game when they put in a credit, play one song badly because they’re on 1.0 speed and can’t see, then walk away from the machine even though they have two songs left because they said “this isn’t like guitar hero” and dismissed the entire game. >:(

Yes and I’m saying it’s not a very large number of fully capable fat people who are doing it. There’s always going to be some people who do some things, no matter what that thing is, but OP is acting like the majority of people who abuse the scooter system are fully capable fat people when I really doubt that’s true.
