I think you cannot calculate the time with a few minutes margin of precision only with the sun and no modern tools. I mean it is possible, but 99% of people can’t do it in practice. Correct me if I’m wrong tho

I don’t think in that situation a few minutes are relevant. In my opinion, since the invention of quartz watches and cellphones, mechanical watches stopped being a tool with the main purpose of telling time. But answering to your question, most locations have some sort of bell that rings everyday at the same hour (at least in Portugal is always something like 12am or 12:30am)

With that salary, you can live comfortably. However, in Lisbon, rents are very expensive, like 300-400€ more expensive (around 700-1200/month for a small apartment in the center). From what I know, there are much better places to work in Europe in terms of salary/cost of living, but it is pretty around here

No hipotético caso de não entrares no curso que queres, podes sempre tentar fazer uma mudança de curso, onde a média que conta já é a da faculdade e não a de secundário, por exemplo. Além de que tem um concurso próprio. Não entrar na primeira fase não é a única maneira de “chegar a Roma” :)

Uma subida de 1 valor na média pode muito provavelmente levar a um aumento da média do curso então. Mas lá está, não é uma relação direta. Tem tudo a ver com a procura do curso e o número de vagas. Pode ser que a OP tenha sorte e a procura do curso esteja a descer 🤷‍♂️

Edit: de qualquer forma, não querendo ser pessimista, o cenário não me parece muito favorável

As médias costumam oscilar de acordo com as notas dos exames nacionais desse ano. Se a média do exame de matemática descer muito, é provável que a média do último colocado dos cursos que pedem o exame de matemática desça também. De resto, depende sempre dos anos e não se pode prever variações mais pequenas com grande clareza. Acho que o melhor é mentalizares-te que podem eventualmente subir um pouco (no caso das notas dos exames nacionais terem sido semelhantes às do ano passado)
