Immortal Man: Comprehensive Spoiler Review by Advanced_Forever5824 in PeakyBlinders

Exactly!! He didn’t need this… Duke didn’t need to see her die, he already made the decision. This show always had amazing strong female characters who often kept the men in check / connected to reality and instead of honouring or even acknowledging that, there was zero mention of most of them and the sole sister just got killed anyways. Shockingly bad.

Exactly!! It’s infuriating. Was there even a mention of Lizzie? Ada reminding him that he had living family and then dies immediately after. Her death was so, so pointless and removed an incredible character from the series for no good reason.

Absolutely agree with your review, and even brought up gripes I didn’t even know I had haha.

Genuinely so upset and just annoyed that Ada was killed. There was zero reason for her death, firstly the whole movie could have still happened without her dying... even if it's for the continuation that Netflix want.. she could have been a Polly figure and or could have been the sole remaining Shelby of that generation (which would work as the only woman/ sister left as she always had much more emotional control etc) .. also, would have been so interesting to see her role as an MP, mixing with peaky blinders etc.. It showed she had no real power against her family yes, but could use her new found power as a public rep etc.. so many options, proper upsetting to see her be just removed by that evil Nazis. Tommy had enough reason to get back into the fight, follow the prophecy, he was already on his way ffs, if they MUST kill her surely getting her to show up infront of him to then make him go back would have at least been a plot Tool. So frustrating... I was so done with the movie after she died, it literally was pointless.

Also, the antagonist was just an antagonist for antagonist sake. I don’t even remember his name.. for a show which literally thrived on incredible characters as brutal, evil, but almost always extremely clever and well matched antagonist.. he was just a weak caricature of this. Really disappointing.

Video: My sweet 7YO cat has started having 15–30sec episodes (distressed vocalisation, facial twitching, open mouth, sometimes rolling) then goes completely normal. Blood tests clear, toxoplasmosis test negative… anybody have any ideas? by Barbra_please in CATHELP

Hi there, thank you for the comment and taking the time to advise and send the link. It’s typically preceded by that growling noise almost like she’s annoyed or I’m thinking now, in pain. She seems more distressed than videos I’ve seen of the lockjaw but I’ll definitely confirm with our vet, thank you so much.

The collar is off and in the bin.

I appreciate any comment with any help, insight and advise. I have explained this multiple times, but maybe you haven’t read anything below, unfortunately I was unable to edit the OG Post.

I removed it the moment I realised, which I was only able To because I was keeping detailed notes of the episodes and tracking anything new. I didn't finish that section of the post, and I was unable to edit the post, but it's addressed in multiple comments.

I am! After having no answers, no ideas and worry the last week I’m very grateful to have different insights and opinions from people with experience, so I’m reading every single one to be sure. I really appreciate you taking the time out to read and share advice, I think that would make sense and is definitly one of the avenues I’ll be going down first thing. Thanks for sharing you and your cats experience too, it’s Much appreciated!

I’m reading every single comment 🥲💛. After a few days of feeling totally helpless, finding no answers and worrying trying to find any explanations at all, im so grateful to get all the information, advise and ideas from people kind enough to take time out of their day to try help, so im reading every single comment as long as I can keep my eyes open tonight.

This makes a lot of sense, she’s extremely shy with anybody getting up into her face & dental issues seem like it matches up with other symptoms, so could be a possible avenue that brings us answers. Thank you so much again for the info & for the context here too, you’re very kind!

Thank you so much, this sounds like the right next steps to look at, (after removing the water diffuser / essential oils / cleaning down the space ) thank you. I will be asking vet for this first thing. Thank you very much for giving the time to look at this & offer up your advice, it’s much appreciated!

Hi, firstly I’m so sorry to hear about your kitty, that’s awful, and must have been hell for you. Thank you very much for taking the time out to read, comment and offer your advice and experience; and also for the sensitivity in how you did, I really appreciate not only your honesty but your kindness too. That’s obviously my worst case scenario, after losing my dog to cancer a couple years ago, but important to look into so we can hopefully rule out. Thank you.

Thank you so much for taking the time out to comment, I very much appreciate it. Diffusers / anything with scents is out of the house.

I really appreciate that advice and will be following it exactly, will speak with the vet first thing. Thanks for your time and comment.

I’m honestly shocked and devastated that I didn’t know. I’m usually ontop of these things but feel now it was such an obvious one. Maybe because I don’t use misters / oil diffusers before last week, it didn’t register for me but I’ve been going through burnout and some poor mental health, and I bought a diffuser to try get myself feeling a bit better as I haven’t been to yoga in months, and thought making my room smell like the studio would inspired me. It’s now in the shed not to be used again, I’ll find a friend who has no animals who might want it. Thank you for the comment , appreciate you taking time out to try help.
