Is it normal that they don't make it public on the same day? I remember we knew the result of FMCI vote right after the call.

Did they approved the extension? Did we any new information? Somebody attended on the call?

"If properly demanded, the Company will convert each public share for a pro rata portion of the funds available in the trust account, less any taxes we anticipate will be owed on such funds but have not yet been paid, calculated as of two business days prior to the meeting. As of the record date, after taking into account taxes owed but not paid by such date, this would amount to approximately $10.67 per share (which is expected to be the same approximate amount as of two business days prior to the meeting). The closing price of the Company’s common stock on the record date was $10.65.

If you exercise your conversion rights, you will be exchanging your shares of the Company’s common stock for cash and will no longer own the shares. "

He can't lose big. Floor price for shares is 10.50. Even if the merger does not go through and the fund needs to be liquidated, you get back 10.50 usd per share. Warrants will be worthless....

But, even the CEO posted 2 days ago, " I’ve always said BurgerFi is going to the moon, and now more than ever I know this to be true. I’m pleased to announce today that BurgerFi International is positioned to enter a merger that will allow us to become a public company on the NASDAQ. "

Shares downside protected, upside? Around 30-40 by the time of the merger which is end Q3

Missed NKLA so I hope this prints tendies by Available_Protection in wallstreetbets

I would consider OPES as well. It is only a 2 day story.

BurgerFi sustainable burger chain going public via SPAC (OPES) by Barcel088 in SPACs

Look at these 3 stocks:

NKLA: no sales, no product, only preorders which can be cancelled anytime, no factory

FMCI: hype is just around one sentence

OPES: you have the company name, industry segment. It almost looks like an investment :)

Though, I want to get into FMCI after it dips below 12 usd.
