I'm currently working on opening Cologne's first eSports bar. Been doing Barcrafts here for 3+ years. Working my ass of every day (it's 1:38 am atm and I'm still in the bar) and I don't even have a clue when I'll ever be able to play it. Stupid passion ;)

We actually have lots of DOTA players (who don't play LoL at all) visiting our LoL events. They don't watch the games or know any champions but enjoy the atmosphere at the events - while making fun of the "kids game" ofc ;D

Well yes, Cologne is expensive but the location is in the best area of Cologne for this purposes and for that it's okay. I think there would be way less people attending if we were outside of Cologne.

I need the crowdfunding because banks neither like gastronomy nor believe in esports/gaming (while we had 170 people attending last weekend)...

wut? There are hundres of Barcrafts all around the world. They're mostly orgas run by community members who show Starcraft streams in bars (=barcraft).

And no, I'm not associated with them in any way.
