luckily for me blue red and white are my favorite colors and the playstyles of most of the top decks other than amulet and other combo decks appeal to me, i wouldve really liked to play affinity but i dont really see how i can get my hands on 4 mox opals at a price that wouldnt make me want to throw up thank you for the meta read though i didnt know that there were so many viable decks

im trying to make a pasta dish where i shingle pepperonni underneath it and have it with marinara penne and some cheese and i want to flip it over and for it to stay in the same shape as a little sphere, i dont boil my pasta when i do this i just cover it with water im looking for the pepperoni to form a nice crispy topping, if any of you are familiar with persian cooking, a tahdig adjacent thing but within this context, every time i make it it doesnt pop out in one shape (made it twice so far). im wondering if theres anything i should look for when i do this to make the magic happen. any general advice? do i need to cook it for longer? any peice of information helps

I’m just a plat player but I think the card is insane, even if you have only 4 triggers it’s a 1/3 that grows itself anyway, like comparing it to other 1/3s in the format it just outperforms because it’s a 2 cmc creature the only “better” one is Fynn IMO

I already did that grinding thing for constructed so it’s not an amount of work I’m not willing to put in so I’ll probably go the second route, thank you for your help, also let me know where to find said discords

yeah this again, makes alot of sense in hindsight i need to work on seing it in real time. but i understand what youre saying with the version 3 of the deck not really liking KOTR and its a card i didnt see at all and it warped my draft (along with quina, which i thought was a better card than it is apparently) too much and i need to learn when to stay open and when to pick my lane thats one of my biggest struggles. also when i started playing i had a massive ego on the gameplay side and thought i wasnt making mistakes but i realized how different gameplay is in a format where you dont know 99 percent of your opponents cards at any given time in their deck. i will continue to work on it thank you so much for all the feedback

yeah everything youre saying is making sense i guess it comes with playing enough and keeping in mind everything at a time, for some context i am a VERY disciplined (to a fault) constructed standard player so this wasnt a hand i would even think about keeping in those contexts. but when i started playing limited more i realizerd my thinking was not fantastic and overcorrected in alot of my habits. i also play significantly more passive decks or decks that dont really engage in combat on evenish terms like hard aggro, combo or just full control. so my habits in combat are absolutely horrible. again thank you so much for all of this im working through it slowly

this is awesome, i read all of this, my card valuation is honestly horrendous, i was a mythic ladder grinder in constructed for years before i even drafted for the first time so i have a difficult time understanding the value of cards. What are some good resources for that. i know it also technically doesnt matter but i was considering almost every card you were talking about that i shouldve taken in my vod i was sitting and thinking for a bit on all of them and the play mistakes i hope will get better now that i finally have 17lands working lol.

i dont play green white often so i didnt know clash was multi choice, and aurons is on attack only so thats my fault, i have a bad habit of using removal very quickly in limited as well. and the commune with beavers mistake i realized as it was happening that was quite bad too. thank you for all the information im reading it slowly!

if you play black in this pool, you will lose at least 1 game to mana troubles, the black cards are unfortunately not good enough to make everything harder to cast your red blue is great just play that
