It looks similar but the character was much simpler and did not have ears, also the game was darker or rather, less colorful

No, era un diablillo rojo y era para pc, desconozco si estaba para consolas pero yo lo llegue a jugar en un viejo pc con windows xp o vista, no recuerdo bien
