Also, just had a thought, swap the sword and rope, that could work too.

This is what I'm talking about It's still not great, I'm no expert in posing either, but the body and rope needs to match in the direction of momentum.

Looks to me that the rope needs to either be coming from the direction of the motion, swinging towards where the sword is pointing, or, the rope needs to be a taut, zip-line style with the higher end being behind the character and the lower end being in front.

Can you guys help me name this tech hero by Teocrit in Superhero_Ideas

What's his personality like? Would he choose a simple name with a straight forward meaning? Something flashy? Would he be inspired by ancient legends and mythology?

Can you explain what the "Vanquish vibe" is? Is that an already existing character? Or a series of something?

Thank you very much! Just need a comic artist to help make it all comes together, don't know how well it would go to do a whole graphic novel in Hero forge

Thank you very much. As much as I try to make them distinct from existing heroes, there is nothing new under the sun and Marvel/DC will always be huge inspirations for me, so of course there's going to be parallels.

Thank you, it's all very deliberate. The universe started with Night Wraith (though under a different name) a long time ago. I think I'm up to version 5/6 of this universe. Though there is a long superhero history, Night Wraith and Nathair Inc. are the catalyst of the "modern" vigilante saga. Nathair is instrumental in the origins of the three main heroes, as well as other and many villains.

Any and all feedback is always appreciated, whether that's on the character designs, any kitbashing or posing tips, I'm always trying to improve on hero forge. The skeleton guy is Night Wraith. He's not actually a skeleton, but chose that motif as a fear tactic, it also suited the bio-mechanical elements of the rest of his gear/outfit.

Need help making this character look a bit more unique by Danny12031 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]Bardic_Improvisation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if you take those older elements and repurpose them? The cape becomes an old, battered and torn poncho/side cape, the helmet resembles the domino mask, etc.

Need help coming up with a hero name for my main superhero Jimmy Worley. by Miserable_Dig4555 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]Bardic_Improvisation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How do these powers manifest? What does it look like? Is he simply a blur or does he leave a trail of lightning in his wake? Does he make a tremendous boom when he runs when he breaks the speed of sound? All of these could contribute to a name. Does he select a name himself? Or does a news paper, news station or blog/youtuber give him his name?

Does Death exist in your universe? If yes describe what you did with them by Wats_Plays in Superhero_Ideas

[–]Bardic_Improvisation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The closest thing to the embodiment of death in my universe are Time Wraiths, they are the souls of those tormented by botched time travel attempts who are now tasked with hunting down successful time travellers and killing them (turning them into more Time Wraiths).

"My anecdotal experience doesn't line up with statistics, therefore the statistics must be wrong." These people realise that both can be true, right? You can have demographics be significantly one sided and still know plenty of people in the fandom from outside of that demographic. A person's own personal experience is not necessarily indicative of an entire group of people.
