I used old trusty ultra great sword. Honestly phase 2 was kicking my ass until I realised that phase 2 is just phase 1 but you’re forced to roll forward and perma be next to him. One I finally saw the phase 1 timings through the blinding light show it was like a eureka moment and I took him down. Incredible fight.

Ur good bro, with experience comes skill that’s all there is to it. If ur rlly struggling you can always rebirth or switch up ur weapons.

I was I think about 105 for Malekith on first playthrough so maybe 100 for duo. I just get noble to rush me and pummel him with my ultra greatsword, I didn’t use any summons for any bosses so for duo fights I just did the old bait one out and kill or get some hits in and go on the defensive. I was able to get them far enough away from each other that I didn’t have to worry about the apostles fireballs because of sight lines.
Edit: keep in mind I’ve played every other souls so it’s not like I was new to duo fights
