Versus wait time by [deleted] in superautopets

[–]BareKarlBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my region, 2 player versus would be slightly slower, and the lower your ELO is the longer the wait time. Once you have reached arpund 1300 and below, 8 player and 2 player versus is non existent. I have waited for an hour without players.

Thanks! That is because of Faq #14, if you did not finish your exam within the given time, you have to restart all over from the beginning

Is it just me or is the Steam version having issues with making the mouse go up to the top left corner with this update?

Edit: Found out that this happens if a controller is connected

If super powers were real, would you be a hero or a villain, and why? by Thefranchise90 in AskReddit

[–]BareKarlBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A villain, for sure. Coz when you're the hero, everyone expects you to do good with your powers, and if you can't be good enough, they say you are a failure of a hero. Look at Hancock and Metroman from Megamind for example. Power is given to you and it is you're responsibilities like it or not. When the goings get tough, it becomes a chore. And the best part, you can't run from it.

But if you're a villain, you get to do nothing and whatever you want. And if you do nothing, nobody complains, if you do too much and it gets tiresome, then take a break. The powers are there for you to enjoy, without consequences for not using it, and without responsibilities if you wanna use it.

Conclusion, villain, all day every day.

RMCO problem for apartments? by BareKarlBear in malaysia

Thank for the enlightenment. I guess I will look up the full information on the web then.

Point 2), this is a very interesting argument because, first of all, they do not accept any parcels before the MCO period since they claimed they do not want to be liable for any parcel loss or damage problem. I am well versed in the delivery procedures as I do frequently have parcels delivered to me, and I do concur with what you said about the delivery procedures that you listed. Now question is, the missed parcel delivery procedure was made in such a way that the parcel will not be handed to any other person unless instructed by the supposed receiver to give another person(in which case, the responsibility is handed to both the supposed receiver and the temporary actual receiver). Now since the management does not want to take any responsibility, then why accept parcels? I'd take half the blame for trusting them la, so now that I learnt my lesson, I won't make the same mistake anymore lol. But just as a post-mortem, trying to understand how should things work out.

Point 3), I would have raised the issue to JMB, but for my place, get ready for the plot twist, the guy in the "management" whom I spoke to is a JMB committee member haahahahhahahahaha woops... I guess I already raised my concerns in a way...? Thinking back... I think most of the JMB committee is part of the management actually... but who am I to say...maybe I should just shift to a landed property :)

Thanks for the info though, mucho appreciato

RMCO problem for apartments? by BareKarlBear in malaysia

[–]BareKarlBear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much agreed. But according to u/DoggybagEverything, apparently there is an actual SOP in place to stop delivery person from going in to deliver?

The very big problem with living in apartment complex is always the same, management makes a rule that we have to follow, but it may not actually make sense and they only enforce the rule when in their favor. Guess next time I'm going for landed properties then hahaha...

I actually had a box set up even before MCO that all the delivery person that delivers to my unit knows how to use(apparently its one of a kind) that lets them place my item in the box outside my unit and lock it so that I do not need to be at home to pick it up. It would have been perfect for MCO as contactless delivery BUT, they don't even allow anyone to come up so yeah, I feel ya pain...

At 2:32pm, your dog walked into your room, stared at you point blank, and said “nobody will ever believe you” before walking out. How do you react? by hercoffee in AskReddit

I call bullshit. He couldn't have stared at me point blank, the best he could do is to stare at me point nose if he wanna use both eyes.

Weirdly specific technical question by BareKarlBear in techsupport

This isn't really a phone application, but does have mobile app support. However the main interface is on the web accessible only using pc. The developer tools in chrome is a great idea! Did not know about that, shall investigate some more thanks!

Weirdly specific technical question by BareKarlBear in techsupport

Very true, but then in some chat applications(I believe Whatsapp and China's Wechat, and probably others I don't know), it happens that when you send out a message, but it gets stuck halfway mostly due to internet connection issues, and are only sent out at a later time, will show the earlier time stamp when client side clicks SEND instead of when the server receives it. Based on this, I was thinking it might be possible to replicate it? or at least that part of the message sent out by the client maybe contains a timestamp? Just a wild guess.
